I'm trying ZOMGBuffs for some days now.
But I can't get it to work as it should work what i read here in the thread.
First I see talking about templates and all. I don't see any templates anywhere, except the default one, where I do miss a lot of stuff. Can I add things to a template? I can't figure it out :(
I.e. when I play my druid I want mark of the wild (not gift of the wild) on myself while soloing, and also thorns. I can't get it to work. I don't understand how you configure things.
Its probably the basics, but its unclear to me. So can someone explain me the basics of the addon? Seen this kind of questions a lot in this whole thread but never answers. I read all the 19 pages and still don't know how it works :)
You can set the minimum group threshold for using Gift of the Wild greater than 1 and it'll do singles on yourself when solo. From the menu, BuffTehRaid options, Behaviour, Minimum Group.
Thorns is also part of the raid buffing module, but works a little differently because it's often a single targetted spell placed on tanks and such, so you need to make sure that after enabling Thorns (can toggle it on from the minimap button tooltip), that your name is ticked in the raid popup (from the floating icon).
Of course, if you've not disabled spell learning, then manually casting it on yourself should be remembered and kept thereafter.
Templates are just a means to remember which buffs to use, standard over all modules, but not really necessary for some.
Sorry I don't have time to read all 19 pages of this >< but:
One small request: Disable raid buffing for non raid buffing (Use Arcane Intellect on everyone instead of 8 Arcane Brilliance) for those of us who are a little cheaper =P
I take it you mean in BGs? You can enabled the "Singles in BGs" option on the Behaviour sub-menu.
If you mean in general, I guess I'll have to add another option.
On the minimap dropdown, i do not see the "Bufftehraid" option. I've tried grouping w/ someone and even converting to raid and i still don't see the option. Is there supposed to be an option for Bufftehraid on the fubar/minimap dropdown? Maybe i just need to be in a raid w/ a buffing class. I've also looked for somewhere to actually "activate" the bufftehraid module and haven't found one.

It's not applicable to all classes. Nothing for it to do if you're not a Priest, Mage, Druid, Shaman, Warlock, Paladin.
Don't understand how that can happen. The index is the class of the unit taken from the raid roster.
Could you explain when this happened? A lot of roster changes or in a bg or anything out of the ordinary?
I dont think anything out of the ordinary happened, i did get that other error i post before that one in the same session, the only thing i can possibly think of that went different was that when i respecced the day before i didnt learn greater blessing of kings (so much for not having to buy spells after you learn them) I zoned into kara, tried to buff, realized why greater kings wouldnt cast, went and trained it, got a summon back zoned in any tried to buff 30 seconds later.
If i get this error again ill try to post more details.

Ahh. Good point. However, as a raid leader, i'm tired of our mages and priests not doing their jobs. I want to be able to assign buffs to groups and such. Is there a way to allow me to do so? (IE: I'm a hunter, but i'm still able to assign pally buffs using the Blessing Manager)
Zeksie. Thanks for your reply. Its much better now :)
Didn't try it again in a group. Hope its okay too. Last week I disabled cause it has 1648 errors. But I will see next time cause there were some updates after that. :)
Well thanks alot for your addons. I also loovvee xperl from you for ages now

I'll probably do something like that, but it's not really the same as the Blessings Manager. All you're doing is deciding who buffs who, and most would hope they can sort that out among themselves. Some have suggested extending the Manager to be a general Everything Manager. Still thinking on that one.

What version was these from? I'll check it out in the morning anyway, but line numbers not matching my code here.
great mod thanks, been a life saver for raids! :)
Would it be possible to add combustion support for us fire mages?
Also on my mini rogue i noticed that it didn't seem to remember Cold Blood but I guess that's not so important.
right now I'm having to keep SSR installed just for combustion and the 2 seems to confuse each other on occasions.

I've steered away from adding Cooldown based spells to the rebuff modules. Can you think of a good reason to not keep it that way?
I apologize if this has been mentioned already, but I don't want to wade through 20 pages of bug reports. In the buff display, instead of showing only the pally buffs that are assigned, could ZOMGbuff show the blessings that a player currently has, and somehow mark any blessings that they shouldn't. Maybe a small red rectangle, or an X over the buff or something. Also, this is low priority, but Detect Invisibility isn't available for warlocks and it'd be nice to have the option to buff pets. (for Arena)

Yeah, had thought of that, but showing what they're missing is often more useful for raid leaders to say "PlayerA needs a salv" and know who's meant to buff it.

1) If a new paladin is added to the raid and the buff assignment is regenerated, it is possible that an "older" paladin gets a completly new set of blessings.
I understand that the constraints (ImpBoW/ImpBoM, same blessings to same paladin...) will give some of the assigned blessing of one paladin to another, but it shouldn't change the "row" for an old paladin.
Example: There are two paladins 1 and 2 in the raid that cover the two highest priority buffs. paladin 1 has blessing assignment a and paladin 2 has blessing assignment b. Now paladin 3 enters the raid. Buff assignments a', b' and c are generated. a' and b' are somewhat similiar to a and b, while c covers mostly new third priority buffs. Now c should always be given to paladin 3 and the assignments for paladin 1 and 2 remains as close to their originals as possible.
2) The buff tracking doesn't always work. For example even if there are unbuffed raid members which are in groups that I assigned myself to, they will no be buffed. This even happens with the whole raid in range and out of combat. The buff icon also doesn't indicate any activity that would prevent tracking (drinking, shapeshifted...). If I hover over the icon it will eventually get updated and tells me to buff.
I am sorry if this is vague, but I haven't found a pattern yet.
3) Similiar to 2), if someone with a missing buff is tracked but buffed by someone else, the tracker isn't updated and still reminds me to buff.
And two more questions:
1) I am not a paladin but want to do the blessing assignments for them. If a raid member whispers me with "!buff -bok +bom" will it be propagated to the appropriate paladin or not?
2) As a feral druid I would switch myself between tank and melee dps in the blessings manager. Can this have a severe impact on the paladin buff assignments? Worst case would be that all paladin get a completly new blessing assignments because might and salv are moved around. Best case would be that light->salv is changed for a specific paladin.

When changing to ret aura from crusader aura in combat
Happened after i cast RF.

for the old errors:
i updated about 5 minutes ago r69649 and got this when i hit RF again
when clicking auto buff button for a 10min spot salv:
Yeah, I do mean in general. If you could do that that would be great =) If not it's cool
