I like this mod but every time I log in lately it either doesn't remember my bar positions, doesnt' remember what buffs I've turned off, or both! I end up spending 20 minutes redoing all the settings every single day.
Today it remembers the positions but none of the buffs. *sigh*
Still having trouble with my affliction Warlock... Siphon Life and Shadowtrance are showing, but nothing else. I tried shutting down the game, completely deleting my settings from the WTF folder, and I'm still getting the exact same problem. Debuff and Buff times are both set to 300, and I tried it with Opt Out both on and off. Nothing else is showing up in either the onscreen timers or in the timers listing in the options.
Also, the General bar settings doesn't seem to be working, I had to set all my bar settings individually.
I really thought this mod was pretty much perfect before all the changes =\ I'm reverting back to an older version, watching this thread for updates.
not being funny look at the god damn new options for max times to show for! i know the options are buggy
I had both buff and debuff set to max (300). Wasn't showing anything at all on any bars. Closed down WoW, deleted my ClassTimer.lua from the WTF/account/SavedVariables folder, started the game back up again, reset all my settings (also to 300 for buff and debuff), and still wasn't showing anything except for Siphon Life (which is a 30 second debuff on my target) and Shadowtrance (which is a 10 second buff on myself). Tried it set to both opt in and opt out. Nothing else was showing up in the list of buffs/debuffs either.
Right now all options are fixed.
Now db will reset next time you update.
Opt out meanas that bars with a duration less than the max time will appear and show
Opt in means that bars with a duration with less time thank the max will not be enabled but added to the list which can be enabled
Running some tests with r41447. Character is a level 70 Affliction specced Orc Warlock. Fresh install of ClassTimer. It seems to be working better, but it's still a little weird. I started with default options (opt out unchecked, buff time 20, debuff time 60). Here's some of the weirdness I noticed with those settings:
-New timers were added to the list unchecked, which seems to be the opposite of what the "Opt Out" option indicates. When I checked "Opt Out", new timers were added to the list checked. I could just be misunderstanding the wording, not a huge deal.
-Siphon Life (30 second DoT) and Curse of Agony (24 second DoT) were not added to the list. Increasing buff time to 60 seconds caused them to show up. Does ClassTimer consider my DoTs as buffs?
-After applying Siphon Life, Corruption, or Curse of Agony to a target, no other debuffs appeared until ALL of those had fallen off the target. If I cast Corruption first (18 sec duration) and then a Siphon Life or Curse of Agony, neither of those would show either. As soon as they fell off, all the other debuffs showed up immediately with the proper time remaining.
The only real urgent problem I'm having now is the Siphon Life/Curse of Agony/Corruption glitch. I'm not sure what could be causing that.
EDIT: Just tried it with no other addons enabled, still getting that weird glitch.
ClassTimers is really nice, but there are some things which aren't so nice..
For one, it now catches EVERY de-/buff you ever get.. we were in Blackwing Lair for kicks today and now I got a lot of Chromaggus' debuffs in my buffs list. And I won't get them out of there if I don't edit the SV.. and even then they will be readded next time :D
And no, the new min/max time does not help here, because there might be other debuffs with the same duration, that I might want to track.
On top of that it does no longer save the list of buffs or the settings I made on the buffs :\
So here's my suggestion: just ditch the auto-detection and hard-coded lists and let the user just input what they want to track. Granted, one would have to add some buffs by hand then but this will be done once only during initial setup.
Also Sticky bars are really messed up. When I put Renew on someone it shows up; then I renew myself and I don't get a bar. When I first renew me and then somebody else, my bar gets overridden :\
And I also frequently get the errors I already listed in this thread.
If there's anyway I can help with these issues, just tell me what to do, because ClassTimers really is great :D

Yes, I am using the latest ClassTimer and Dewdrop revisions at the time of this posting.
Continuing to get this error when using the ClassTimer dewdrop gui. Also, the latest revision of ClassTimer has been really weird. I'm on my Warlock and yet the Timers> menu is showing Hunter spells (I have a Hunter as well) intermingled with Warlock spells.
