Great add-ons, looking for this kind of add-on for age (will delete my excel sheet)
Now my suggestion : Are you planning to add quest requirement for gear. Let's me explain. My alt toon it's a tankadin (lvl 48) who most of the pre-kara gear coming from quest. So, if Wishlist could send a warning when a quest it's done before turning it to remember to take that gear would be nice. But, just a way to enter a note has requirement (to enter quest name, giver and zone) would be nice too.
Another suggestion: A way to enter gem, enchantment and requirement for the two on the gear. The 100% phase could be complete only when gear got both.
That what just some suggestions, so, continue with the great work...
P.S. Sorry if my english it's not so good, I'm a french canadian....
Quick update, I started working on sets and it went pretty good. Checked out Phanx version from subversion (thanks alot for that :D, only question where did all my semicolons go to :P) So I'll integrate the changes in there.
Have been thinking about tracking other types of items but not sure how to keep tracking them. Currently items are removed once you buy them, so not sure how I would handle the gems part :) I'll think about it.
He he, I normally work in C# so I was used to it, but yeah it doesn't look so bad either without them. Got my e-mail(s) (2 of them, each with a different password :P) with my SVN account so I won't be bothering you again :)
Maybe I'm blind, but I can't seem to find a way to add custom items to a wishlist item.
For example, Dragonstrike needs 8 Primal Nether and 2 Primal Might to craft. I couldn't find a way through the command or menus to add either of those in.
Excellent addon so far, makes my PvP gear priorities a little easier to jot down.
Tho I'm having some problems with it, everytime I zone all the stuff I put on my Wishlist disappears :(
*Hmm installed Atlas Loot now and took the item from there and then it stayed when I zoned :p
Weird, have no idea what could cause that, I do have AtlasLoot running, will disable it and try it.

Currently the list of trackable items is hardcoded, I'll think about being able to add custom items to it.
Committed a new version, you can now group items in different sets and add a note as requirements.
Both have been implemented functional wise but I'm not sure if everything is as it should be :P
If you have any comments or suggestions please let me know :)
No items should be lost if you upgrade, new items will be added to no set, you can add a set, you can move items between them and removing a set will first move all items out it.
Notes do nothing just show them in the tooltip as 0% complete.
Any way to get the counter to go up, not down, to track how many items needed left?
And to get doubles of the same item-- I want two of the same trinket, but it treats their % complete as one, not 2 separate items
So instead of Need 39/50 it would show Got 11/50? You want this for everything or just for items? Each item should be tracked individually, but I think I know what you mean.
The upper part of the tooltip shows the totals you need, but for the items it calculates how far you are for that item alone. So let's say you have 2 items that need 20 AV marks and you got 10AV marks at the moment. Totals would be 25% but for each item it would show that you have 50%.
If I could add all these item ids for the reagents to a special category (like "reagents", "crafting materials" or something like this) it could be possible to assign them (and how many of them) to each individual crafted item.
I have yet to try Wishlist, but I'm curious if you can add raid drops to your wishlist? It would be helpful if using external tools for determining best gear upgrades to build a wishlist, so when you're in an instance you know if you should be bidding/rolling on a drop.

Yea Id like to be able to toggle from 11/50 to 39/50

You can add any item at all to your wishlist; however, there is not currently a way to mark the source for dropped items. This would be a neat feature, though.

One thing I really miss is the possibility to add materials for crafted items (so it's possible to see how far you are with these ones).
An example:
Belt of Deep Shadow (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30040)
It needs:
2 x Nether Vortex (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30183)
4 x Heavy Knothide Leather (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23793)
10 x Primal Shadow (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22456)
2 x Rune Thread (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=14341)
10 x Primal Air (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22451)

Also, dual items are not tracked individually
