The changes are on the PTR, so as soon as you're able to download the client and patch it up (and transfer your Rogue) you can start. I will be MORE than happy to test builds for you; feel free to send me a pm if you'd like to send files over a messenger program.
I can't create a premade character (don't know why, it's just disabled) and there is no Russian PTR (and this is REALLY bad, since all my lvl 70 characters are on Russian realms). So I'm waiting for either Russian PTR or ability to create a premade character.
Meanwhile I'm trying to redesign options hierarchy, because, TBH, sometimes Ace3 options dialog makes me sick.
ant1pathy, it look's like I've found a way to show DP stacks on combopoints, will try to code it on weekend.
Yes, at least I'll be able to imagine what must be done when I'll have an access to PTR/release :) Can you please do it through PMs so we'll keep this thread clean? Many thanks in advance.
Thanks for the great addon. I changed my hud a few times and then found this and love its numerous options and modularity.
I was unable to find this mentioned in this thread but the "Tapped" color does not seem to "change" while a target/mob is selected/targeted. If I have a Mob targeted and someone from the other faction taps it before I do, the "Tapped" color does not become active on it. I used to use IceHUD and loved that it would change the state as it was happening.
This becomes a problem when doing dailies and I think I got credit for that mob/go to loot it and nothing has happened. If I untarget/target again the color changes but not while targeted.
@jeremy7600: Yes, I know :( It's a well known bug (at least for me ) for a long, long time :( Now that you've mentioned it I'll try to remember why I wasn't able to fix it.
Meanwhile yesterday I've posted some cosmetic changes, today will be more (I've finally walked across my texturing code and fixed layers, so now it should lilke more solid). And, BTW, ant1pathy, I haven't forgot about deadly poisons and combopoints, I just can't find a way to implement it to look consistent. I'll keep trying.
PM me whatever ideas you've come up with (and a cropped SS of the current combo points, as I'm not home and can't fire WoW up) and I'll give some feedback :D.
@ant1pathy: You know, when I sat and coded "the best case scenario" that I've come up with it looks even worse than in my mind :) The code was immediately destroyed, file scratched with zeroes, moved to another folder, scratched with zeroes again and finally deleted (not using Recycle Bin, of course) :) So now I'm sitting cyrcling around the main building in Shattrath for 1024th time trying to get a new idea.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get hands on PTR (as I said before - there is no Russian PTRs yet) and that means I'll have no sleep on next wednesday at all. Poor, poor me :(

Poor YOU? POOR YOU?! What about ME, not having a delicious energy ticker for like 12 hours?!
I have been using this for awhile, and it's a great addon. I posted this on Curse also.
I recently did a clean install of wow on a new computer, and when I downloaded 1.3.1 & 1.3 it comes up without any health or mana bars . And it does not give you any bar options (also it does not have the + or - to expand the options) to adjust them in the menu. The only bar that shows up is the threat bar. So i reverted back to 81837 and I have them back. Thanks for the help.
@mistik911: Open configuration dialog via /uh and try to select Modules node on the left and turn on specific modules. I'll fix this bug in the next release, but meanwhile you can do it manually.
Question to ant1pathy: Now, when energy regenerates every 1/10th of the second what is the possible use of energy ticker? I've just asked myself - why do we need it at the first place? Standard energy bar will grow smoothly or so I think. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
No, you're right the ticker isn't needed. Could leave it there for the 5SR if you wanted, but otherwise you're going to have to find a use for the energy frame :D!
You know, I've just found a way to do lag indicator, SnD timer and lot of other stuff. Unfortunatelly current model of "Provider - Bar - Style" will not work :( What I want to do is to convert it to "Frame - Element(s) (- Provider)" model. It will take some time but here is some possibilities that will be available:
- More accurate visibility management (visibility is applied to frame itself). No more guesses "which one of the providers is the one to control visibility of the bar"?
- Transparency rules can be applied to each frame separately
- Frames can be anchored to each other. Elements inside frame can be anchored to frame or sibling elements. The side effect of this is, for example, if you have ToT bar with two texts (ToT's name and health) combined in one frame you can move that frame without individual element repositioning
- Frames can be grouped and visibility/transparency can be applied to group
- "Interactivity" (right/left click behavior) is applied to frame. The side effect is that you'll be able to create non-interactive frames (Target's power bar, for example, or Threat bar) that will be shown only if the target actually has something to display. Another side effect is that some frames can be marked as "OOC" frames and will be shown only if you are OOC.
- Some other sweet things can be done, such as spell cooldown bar (for SnD, polymorph) without stressing CPU.
Hell, I've just got a lot of ideas :) The only questing is - does anybody need this or it's only my creativity? :)
Hey, - Am I the only one that has used the portraits? If I load all the settings and create tabs in game, the portraits show up as I add them. If I log out and log back in, the portraits show as blank. Even if I select targets around me, the health/mana bars respond appropriately, but the portraits stay blank. Any idea why?
Works fine on my Mage, kicking errors on my Rogue. The energy module doesn't seem to want to work right (does the 2 second jump instead of the smooth fill, although my Mage's mana does the smooth thingy). And I don't know if it's still using the Threat-2.0, and if it is you might want to move to Blizzard's built in reading.

And did you get the energy looked at for 3.0?

SnD monitor perhaps >.> ?

And add an "apply to all" for font faces please!
