actually i've did both of those...deleted my chat-cache and turned off the font in prat but CF2 still wont scale it or change the font in the window unless i /rl
I'm having a problem with CF2... It's changing the fonts so that they are no longer the default Blizzard fonts, but it's not changing them to any of the nice looking ones in the fonts folder either! I'm currently using FuBar, but I had the same issue with just the minimap button as well. Whatever font I pick, it displays as an Arial-ish blocky font. The only thing that changes when I switch fonts is whether or not it's bold, or the size. As far as I know I haven't done anything weird--just unzipped the folder and stuck it in addons.

Just curious, are you using a font pack? I know that for some reason, it won't always affect everything when using an alternate font (other than the default).
Regarding the problem with "..." appearing in tradeskill windows (and elsewhere). I edited ClearFont2/Design.lua and changed these lines, replacing "13" with "12" (the font size). This appears to have corrected the problem for me. My native Blizzard UI Scaling option is turned off.
with clearfont 2 I cannot see *ANY* text in my profession windows. I read somewhere if you can see "..." you should fiddle around with the font scaling or something. I don't really like this idea because anything else works just fine. Admitted the battleground listings look ugly because the row height doesn't match the text height and therefore it's all screwed up - but except for that everything is fine.
So is there some best practice on how I can make my profession frames readable again?
I am using ClearFont2, love it, easy to read and so on...
One problem I am having with it, I want to enlarge the text, say for Quest Log... I enlarge the font scale to 140% in the options yet this does nothing for say, the Quest Log...
Is there anyway to fix the underscore issue with the FrancophilSans font? It's by far my favorite font but the underscore issue is annoying at times. Any suggestions?
By the way, I love you...Captain Kirk.
Aww :)
I feel obliged to point out that that Kirk has nothing do with my username. In fact, nothing does! Explanation here: http://www.kirkburn.eu/ ;)
I can't fix the font, though, sorry. I can only hope a fixed version appears one day!
Shame, hope you find a fix soon, that font's the nicest :|
Compatibility issue with RDX6 (specifically the VFL library module):
ClearFont generates this error through VFL -
Interface\AddOns\VFL\UI\Core.lua:439: Please use :SetFontObject() instead of :SetFont() for manipulating VFL pooled fontstrings.
Here's the explanation from the RDX6 author, Venificus.
ClearFont is causing that error to occur.
However, that error is manually created by VFL, so I will change it to a warning instead so the UI isn't disrupted by it.
The reason that error exists in the first place is that calling :SetFont on VFL reusable objects (Which is what ClearFont is trying to do in this case) causes a lot of graphical corruption, like random sized fonts all throughout VFL dialogs. If you see this effect you should disable ClearFont.
Is there a chance we could achieve a workaround between these 2 mods?

Squid, you need to go into the Design.lua file using Notepad and change the font size that way. Just hit Ctrl F and look for QuestFont. Change whichever quest related font you wish that way.
Kirk, first grats on one of the best mods out there. Second, I've made the conversion from CF to CF2 and edited the Design.lua file to match my liking from the settings I had in the original CF. Though, one issue I am having with CF2 is with the tooltip that I believe is related to either Auctioneer or Lootlink. The font in that tooltip is incredibly small and therefore unreadable. Is there an adjustment to be made in the Design.lua that I am missing that would correct this?
Clearfont2:
Blizzard Raidframes:
It's possible to show the target of someone. For example the target of the MT. When you click on the target you get an ClearFont was blocked... -Error.
Hope to see this fixed :) Thanks, great mod, bye,

No solution anyone?
This is a tainting issue. Not caused my CF2 because it alters no frames, persay...
I've a problem with damage font, that one who shows on target's head when hitting him. I'm not able to change it. I tried with different styles but nothing changes.
I thought it was some addon overlaying CF2 but i tried also with just base interface and only fubar2 and cf2 enabled. Every number changes but not that damage one.
Any solutions?
I have an issue with prat i cant figure out fonts are working halfway - chatboxes and most of addon messages are fine but standard ui fonts stay the same (as well as tiny tip for example). Any pointers on this?
Is it planned to add support for multiple fonts at once? I really liked Devla's Fontabolous with Devla's selection where different fonts were used for different things.

It is Prat compatible, its just that Prat font scale overrides CF fonts and dissables then.
Go into Prat options and turn of the font size scaling and it will work again.
And if that doesn't work, delete your chatcache.txt file(s) in your character directories.
Am I missing something?

Thank you for this. Worked perfectly with no other changes to the UI or Scaling.
