ok i just updated all my Ace mods and got the new SCT that came with the font from Diablo and i wanted this font in my chat as well but nothing i do seems to get it availible in the CF menu. (i added the font file alone and in a named file folder in the font packet and original folder)
i apologize in advance for being a noob but i've searched the forum several times and don't see the answer.
I'm using Clearfont2 and Sct and Sctd , when i activate the font i want it works great on all my mods except on Sct's floating text...the SCT gui was changed fine just not the scrolling text in the center of my screen during combat.
i'm not a mod expert and would appreciate some instruction on how to correct this.
i'm using the crimefighter font...makes the whole game look more like a comic book.."very cool :P "
Since i like the "crimefighter" font ...if i copy it in w/ the other fonts in Sct's font folder it is still not amongst the list of choices.
how could i get Sct to add my font to its list of available fonts?
CF2's fonts (and those of the font pack) get registered with SharedMediaLib and sct pulls additional fonts from SharedMediaLib. If Crimefighter does not show up in your sct options (type /sct menu) to choose from, then make sure that you are running the latest versions of sct and/or the font pack.
Just updated 2 minutes ago, clear font is no longer being applied to player/npc names above their heads :\

Changed paths:
M /trunk/ClearFont2/Design.lua
ClearFont2: Comment out stuff that taints.
Is that also the reason why the Fonts of Menu's in for example Fubar and the font being used for how much exp u get from killing something (the one in the middle of your screen), have changed?
No, but if everything I try to do works, and I don't get any error messages, it's probably not an issue, and I'd rather be able to control those fonts (especially the dropdown menu font size -- without CF2 at my resolution and UI scale they're pretty much unreadable). If I do encounter a problem, it only takes a moment to update. :P
Sorry for the noobish question, but is there any reason to switch from CF to CF2? I'm happily using the first one, and I was wondering if CF2 has any advantage over the other font addon.
Thanks in advance. :)

A LOT more fonts!! And the ability to switch them in game, settingd per character.... IMO do it! :)

My dewdrop menus are very difficult to read as well. :(
@Lyf: Create your own fontpack - you can use the one on the svn as a guide
can anyone please help =D

If so, how do i revert it back? :)
Revert CF2 to a version before that change was made. :)
Personally I haven't experienced any issues as a result of taint (at least not that I'm aware of!) so I haven't updated yet.
I would if i wasn't using WowAceUpdater :D
Taint issues aren't always easy to see. Probably better safe than sorry.
Thanks in advance. :)

@deluXE: in-game font control
Downloaded your suitcase from wowinterface, which has version 36505, so all looks fine again :D
edit: same thing for mob and chars names, chat bubbles etc.
