This addon is amazing, so useful and easy, I love it.
But can you fix just the bug "auto-adding quests in the list" (when we take them) ? This functionality doesn't work. I think it's this only bug for this addon.

Seems to work fine here, assuming I'm understanding you correctly..? When I accept a quest, it gets added to the Quest Tracker here with no problems.
Is this addon still being maintained or did dear bayi abandon us? :(
Bayi just did a bug-fix commit yesterday.
But ever since the quest history function of bEQL was for some reason removed (put back a month later by someone else) and the taint & bugs became too much to put up with in normal play, I moved to QuestGuru. At least on low level alts where memory load is not an issue ;).
QuestGuru is another "EQL-like" mod like bEQL, but likely the most well done of them all. QuestGuru is active development, has a similar concept as bEQL (with a few more features), a working quest history, no taint, not many functional bugs historically that were not fixed soon after and it plays well with other addons (LightHeaded, MobMap, Mars Quest Organizer, etc.). Still hope bEQL continues to improve, though.

Thanks for the recommendation. (Bit naughty of you in the bEQL thread, but your cheek has made me happier.) Hooray!
OK, I've just noticed that if you minimise the quest tracker, you get the objective progression updates in the chat frame. That'll do me. :)
Well. Since I wrote this (Dec 23rd), I've been wondering why I can't find the option to do this, and why bEQL only shows completed quest objectives on my lock, and not on my priest. I've just figured out that it's not bEQL doing this, it's QuestsFu, which I don't have enabled on my priest (and thought was disabled on my lock). Thanks, noone, for correcting me!
Also, I gave QuestGuru a try, and unfortunately it's a bit limited for me. The biggest problem is the tracker, which has a maximum of 25 like the built-in tracker - why this limit is in place I have no idea, but, it's there, and it's frustrating. Second, it kept putting the message "QuestGuru tracker is already full" (or something to that effect) as a warning up on my screen - I guess because bEQL was tracking more than 25 quests and it was trying to add them, but failing because of its own limit? I don't know; and third the quest log itself was messed up - I think because I'd resized it with bEQL running (using MoveIT), and it didn't like that very much. Some of the options looked very nice, but unfortunately I haven't got the patience to try and get the other problems sorted.
Since 3 days I get an error (or to be precise three errors) when i collapse a quest section (e.g. region 'Shattrath') in the quest window of bEQL. These errors only occur when the quest section contains one ore more quests being watched in the quest tracker. The moment i collapse the tree three errors occur and the every second or so the errors occur again until i expand the tree again. Collapsing a tree branch without a watched quest does not provide any error.
The three errors:

This plugin has been working fine for me, the only problem I am having is that I can not move the tracker. I have tried to force unlock is, nothing. Any help on actually moving it?
Do you have any other quest or map addons installed? If so you might have the other addon's tracker frame on top of bEQL. I had the problem with Chinchilla. I had to use enable quest tracker movement in Chinchilla, move it's frame out of the way before I could move the tracker with bEQL.
I'm pretty sure I don't. If I do I don't know why. I didn't install any other except for bEQL except for a while back I installed the extended one. I removed that after I got bEQL though. I went through and made sure of that too. Unless CT mod has one litterly built into it, I didn't even install the addon for that either.

@Jath - If you have any mods at all that affect the minimap, they could be your culprit.
I just gave this a try after using QuestsFu for ages. It's working great for me with no errors, and Quecho attaches to it happily. (It didn't with QuestsFu because of the tablet thing - not Quecho's problem.) I just wanted to pop my head into the thread to thank Bayi for coding this. :)

Run bEQL & QuestGuru at the same time, there are going to be problems with one and/or the other. Unclear whether you were from the above, but there is a clear message on the mod page advising to avoid running multiple quest log replacements at the same time.
Yah, a QuestGuru issue for tracker users who like things unlimited in size is the 25 quest limit that mirrors what the Blizzard one does. The tracker is likely being changed soon to accomodate more, though.
For resizing, yes, it doesn't like having the log resized. Likely being changed as well. Other than those issues, no problems :). Can put requests/problem notices in the topic thread linked above; the author appears to be responsive to issues (for now).
(Hijacking threads ftl, so...) I hope bEQL's issues (taint, errors) are fixed soon and its quest history tracker becomes supported by the author again so I (and others) can change back to it :).
I really loved this addon. It was wonderful. The only problem I had with it was that it refused to let me move the tracker so that it was visible on my screen. My minimap is at the bottom, and the quest tracker just will not move. EXCEPT for the first character that I ever used it for.
I'm wondering if this is a profile issue after reading some the otehr earlier posts here. I have no idea how to fix that now. Anyway, I'm trying another alternative while I wait for a solution or suggestion to correct that problem.
do you have simple minimap installed? if so thats the problem thats what was wrong for me.
it has something called Movers drag it up to the top of the screen and make them visable so you can relocate them. several addons allow you to move things and any of them could be the problem.
Oh that would be fantastic... I'll have to look. I think I have squeenix though. Hopefully there is something similar :) And I hope I find it! I sure do miss this. And QuestGuru is bleh. I want my BEQL~

All the best.
Seems to work fine here, assuming I'm understanding you correctly..? When I accept a quest, it gets added to the Quest Tracker here with no problems.
When it tries auto-add the 21st quest to the tracker an error is thrown.
Even this is the 18/25 quest. The problem looks appeared only for me.
I must each time open the quest menu and make shift + click on the new quest.
Maybe an another addon is responsable of conflit.
