Edit: reloaded ui, doesn't error anymore. Don't really understand how the keybindings work. If I use the default system it means when using stances/forms to switch actionbars the key is still bound to the first page...

Because it suits my not-so-common setup 100%. But I used another bar addon before Bongos3 that had the same limit of max 12 buttons/bar. I had to split up the bars a bit then and used 10+5 buttons. Yeah, I'm a minority so don't adjust it after me.
It does the following:
* Right click selfcast support via /run Mangos:SetRightClickSelfcastUnit('unit')
* Basic support (and I do mean basic) for variable numbers of action bars via /run Mangos:SetNumBars(number) Its like Bongos2, in that it will reset all action bar positions. I've not made the default position code work well with variable numbers of bars.
* Reuses BonusActionButtons 1 - 12. I need layering checking on this.
* Fixes a bug with my math for the stance sliders.
Trying to give this a shot, but I'm having some issues with "holes" in my bars. When I started up, I had a stack of buttons stuck in the upper left corner of my screen (see attached images). I turned on config mode and moved the entire stack of 10 bars near it, with showgrid turned on, so you can see the "holes" on the far left of bar 1 (bottom most bar) and bar 6. The buttons missing from the holes are the ones stacked up in the corner of the screen. They are all macro buttons except one, if that makes any difference.
There is a somewhat related issue with my pet bar. The pet bar also has holes, even with showgrid turned on. I would have expected there to be an empty button between the group of 5 and 3 buttons, as I have no pet skill in that button. There is also a missing button to the far left of the bar, which is how it's somewhat related to the first issue. The first button should be my pet attack button, but it's also in that stack of buttons stuck in the upper right corner. The pet attack that was on the pet bar is not a macro, although I do have a macro that involves /petattack.
I have tried dragging the skills on the "stuck" buttons out of the corner onto the bars. Nothing happens when they are dropped into the holes that they should be with on the main bar. I am able to drag them to other empty buttons, though. However the button slot that's stuck to the corner remains stuck there.
Are you running skinner?
Do you experience this problem with all other addons disabled?
Doh, yes I am. I should have tried it disabled... I even read the post earlier where someone said they had a problem with Skinner. *sheepish* It is fine with Skinner disabled.
Yay! New versions since I last tried it! I'm glad the sticky can be sorta avoided by using Alt. That was driving me nuts, since the sticky range seems so much larger than it is for Bongos.
The sticky range is larger, and will be reduced. Timabales is slang for "balls" and thus will not be used :P
Also, Mangos 1.4.0 is now up.
* Recoded the fading code to not cause Interface Action Blocked errors
* Overrode all blizzard hotkey functions so that I can shorten keys via keybound, and have control over hiding them later. Needs to be tested for tainting, but I don't expect it to.
Tried a quick test today and am liking what I see. Hopefully once finished I will switch from Bongos2 to Mangos (or whatever it ends up being called). Did try Bongos3, but there was something I didn't really like about it (can't really explain why though).

Cast bar: This is something I want precisely because it does not include the things you specify. Actually, I always think about doing mirror bars, but solely to unify the look of the casting and mirror bars.
Please do consider adding a mirror bar, it is the one thing I felt Bongos was lacking. Ideally I'd like to see it with a timer added into the bar. Currently I am using AzCastBar purely for the mirror bar as it was the lightest one I found with a timer, but would happily change to a Bongos/Mangos one either with or without the timer.
Also, did I mention how profiles work in Mangos? Every one is set to use the profile, Default, by default. Paging settings are saved per profile, per class.
Does this mean that I can set up one characters layout in Mangos and then every other character will have the same layout with the only difference being that they will have their own unique paging settings, but still using the default profile? Sorry to sound dense, but I'm just not certain what you meant by this.
Also would you consider making the roll bar a plugin along the lines of Bongos2 please? I did use the roll bar for a while, but ending up switching to teksLoot, just my personal preference there. :)
I'm another use in need of 15 buttons on a bar. Why? I use a N52 keyboard and want to have a 5x3 array of buttons to mirror the layout of the keyboard. That is the ONLY reason I don't do a quick jump from Bongos3 to Mangos/Congas... or, since we look for minimalistic... THONGS
I'm just curious -- how on earth is a mirror bar or any other casting bar at all related to action bars?
One is for displaying the time and name of castable abilities. The other is for arranging clickable buttons. There is no way these things should exist in the same addon. It's like requesting that a toaster be installed inside your dishwasher.

They use the same artwork. I wouldn't make the mirror bars movable, I'd just replace the artwork.
Why?
Whatever you're doing, its an addon conflict.

Nothing to see here, move along...

Hold down alt when moving things.
In that case I'll add another vote for Djembe.
