Has anyone tried both this and Bartender4? If so, I'd be interested in hearing how they compare.
Also, does Dominos let you move action buttons around in combat? I guess the default UI lets you do this but BT4 doesn't because it caused buggy behavior.

I've tried both and I like Dominos a lot better since it really seems more complete. I haven't tried it yet but I also believe Dominos is supposed to let you move buttons in combat.
I also tried both and am sticking with Dominos. I was able to set up my hide/show/paging the same way as I had it in Infinibar. And I have moved things around in combat, as I forgot that I no longer had SmartBuff installed to auto cast Icy Veins for me and I didn't have it on my bar in a raid. >.<
Does it have the ability to color buttons that you don't have mana/rage/energy to use, or does redrange do that too?
Also, does it provide a MicroMenu bar? (the one with character sheet, social menu, options menu, GM ticket, etc. buttons) There's MicroMenuFu, but I want to eventually move to StatBlockCore+FuBar2Broker and I don't know if MicroMenuFu will work with that.

The bar with the character, spellbook, social, etc. is there. You can resize and/or move it around. You can also hide it. I don't know what MicroMenuFu does so I can't comment further.

Hence my overabundance of buttons, and I use Shift+click to move stuff, I frequently accidentally dragged stuff while targetting etc.. So ya..

You know what, HunterZ? Why don't you just install it and try it? :P
Seerah: Was at work at the time. Trying Dominos + Dominos Buff + Dominos Config now. Seems very usable, but noticed a couple issues:
1. Several bars had their leftmost buttons ripped off (disconnected from) the bar and placed in the upper-left corner of the screen, including bar #1, menu bar and pet bar. I was able to work around the issue by changing the number of columns on each bar, and then changing it back. Unfortunately, this issue re-manifests itself after every reloadui, so it's greatly annoying.
Update: Disabling Skinner seems to prevent the issue. I was able to resolve it less drastically by disabling some of the options under Skinner->UI Frames, although I was not able to determine which specific option was responsible.
2. Menu Bar and Bag Bar don't get registered with ButtonFacade for some reason, so they can't be skinned. I don't think BT4 could skin them either though.
3. Most action bar addons use "padding" to refer to horizontal spacing, rather than vertical. This confused me until I saw the "spacing" setting :)
4. Opacity and Faded Opacity settings seem to dp the same thing. I guess they don't respond to mouseover properly or something? I guess I just don't understand what they do.
Update: Hmm, it seems mouseover opacity seems to work only when the Dominos Ace3Config menu is closed.
5. The Size setting anchors to the right side of the bar, but the Scale setting anchors to the left. This means I have to move my bars back and forth a lot as I adjust them.
6. Binding Text looks really nice at 100% scale, but not so nice at the 120% I have my Pet Bar set to so that its buttons are the same size as normal bars are at 100%.
7. Action Bar 1 worked fine with default keybinds, but after setting up modifier-paging, I noticed that hitting, say, shift+1 would try to activate action 1 on bar 1 instead of on the bar that shift pages to. I was able to fix this by re-binding (via /kb) action bar 1's action buttons (which it said had no keys bound). I did not need to bind modifier+whatever to the paged bar(s); Dominos seemed to know what to do.
1 is a known bug :) Sorry it annoyed ya. Not much more I can say.
2. No clue, that's up to Tuller to implement.
3. Yeah, once you get used to that, it's pie.
4. Really? Now that's interesting. I probably never noticed because I set up my stuff by /dom lock and right clicking on bars etc.
5. Yeah, that annoys me too at times.
6. I wish there was a way to scale text seperately of the buttons, like Infinibar.
7. Yep, ran into that too. Remember, if you switch to say BT4 or anything, you may have to redo those /kb moves. I was massively pissed off cuz I couldn't find the fix when I tried Dominos (which was mangos still then), turns out it was me not reading about /kb :P
Overall, it's not that bad eh? I am pretty happy with it.
Hi,
i recently changed from Bongos to Dominos and there seems to be an issue with Buttonfacade.
The equipped border doesn't seem to work properly for me, the only time when it is shown correctly is after i changed any option in the bf config and then only for as long as i leave everything concerning the button alone.
some testing indicates there might be a problem with blend modes, because the equipped border looks the same when i change the mode from disabled to the default value blend.
i made a similar post in the buttonfacade thread, but phanxx said it seems to be a problem with dominos, because it still works fine with bongos3/bongos3_buttonfacade
the first button is the equipped border i get, the second is the normal border and the last is the equipped border as it should be
i know this is not a standard skin, but the issue is also there with other skins
@HunterZ: the skinning of the Main Menu Bar causes the leftmost button to be placed in the upper left corner, disable it and it's back to normal

One other question: does Dominos have sticky action bars and clamping of bars to edges of the screen so that you can align them more easily?
I've been using redrange and it's working great! :)

I'll disable RedRange and tell you LOL. I have RedRange and get them. I do think Dominos shows it, but it could be redrange I am not sure.

RedRange uses blue to indicate buttons for which you do not have enough power to use.
