Anyone else having issues with SwapMagic not functioning with ClosetGnome anymore? Just noticed this last night when I was making a new set. It works fine on the character sheet until you open make/edit set UI.
I'm having the same issue. SwapMagic doesn't work properly whenever I'm creating or editing a set with ClosetGnome, but works fine if I just have the character frame open.
After messing around with different key combinations I figured it out. Right click for the menu, hold CTRL and click on the set you want to delete. Could a note be added to the tooltip to make this more clear? Thank you.
I'm sure you're busy levelling, but have you had a chance to fix the problem where closetgnome forgets our sets every time we level? It sounds like one of the users on the curse.com project page hacked it to work, if you had a chance to integrate their fix...
I really don't want to hack at this myself, as I'm not 100% conversant with LUA...the problem arises from the fact that the itemstring returned by itemLink has a new, 9th field, that seems to correspond with the level of the player creating a link. This is probably used for the new bind-on-account items, but is worthless otherwise. Since closetgnome is using the entire itemlink string to manipulate items, it breaks every time you level (as all your items have "new" ids). I think the solution would be to feed the itemLink() and GetInventoryItemLink() output through a function something like ClosetGnomeFixItemLink (or whatever) that either removes the 9th field or sets it to 0, before using the string. It looks pretty easy, but I'm not 100% clear on how all of closetgnome works, so I'm hoping someone smarter pipes up :)
prismatic gem
when you have 3 prismatic (unique 3) gem on both set A and set B you get an error when switching set saying you can have only 3 prismatic gem.
i think you should check for prismatic gem and swap those together or something like that so there is never more than 3 on the character .
Aye, making a naked set doesn't work. Making a normal set also sometimes leads to "can not find item". Even when not receiving any error it refuses to swap gear.

This isn't actually a Closetgnome error. The problem exists with the default UI as well.
Wear 3 dragon's eyes, and try to swap in a piece of gear with a dragon's eye in the same slot. You can only do it by unequipping that slot first then equipping the new piece of gear in that slot, not by direct swapping.
yeh i know that, but with some "intelligent" coding about which gear to swap first the error disappear, wardrobe did this with some feedback so i guess closetgnome can too ! :p
ps: of course if you use prismatic on the exact same 3 pieces as your swapping gear you're in a world of pain but knowing that it shouldn't happen.

I do indeed have 3 prismatic gems in the 3 exact same pieces of gear between pvp/pve.
Is it possible to make closetgnome putting engineer gear (trinkets, headslot items) BACK into the bag it took the items from ?
Usually have those items in the engineering bag - after switching of gear, those engineering items are scattered through all bags and the char loses effective bag slots by it.
generally, its possble for the addon to put the items back to that bagslot it took em from ? (unless the bagslot is occupied since use) (though im fully happy if its just the same bag the items gets put back.
I have been trying to make use of the macros posted waaaaaayyyyy back on the OP to switch equipment via macros but unfortunately they do not appear to work for me. Did this get changed in the update a few months back for LDB support or am I just being stupid? :)
I have a set name called 'Fishin' and this is the command I am trying to use:
/script ClosetGnome:WearSet(Fishin)
Bugsack isn't reporting any errors if thats of any use?

I have removed all items and have green slots and saved it as "Naked"
Now when I use "Not Naked" (all slots green with equiped items)
Then want to switch back to Naked, it wont unequip items.
How do I make a naked toon with this?
Nudist does that all with the click of a gnome...

Hope you'll fix it soon, ClosetGnome rocks.
i have detailed the problem and a work around in the wardrobe comment section.

It will just become a LDB menu to switch sets.
"The gnome has gone back into the closet. Nothing to see here!"
