Is anyone having the issue where every now and then one can no longer click on the outfits on the ClosetGnome dropdown menu to equip the sets. The menu still shows and I can see my outfits, but they are not "active" or able to be clicked on. The right-click menu, "Wear" and other options still work.
Yeah, this seems to be a Tablet-2.0 problem, I have no idea what's going on.
Yeah, I get that too after playing for a while. Relogging solves it, if only there was a command to edit outfits (last I checked there wasn't) this wouldn't be a major deal.
I have tried closetgnome several times, and have always liked the mod. I am stuck with itemrack for one and only one reason though.
As a warrior, I use itemrack to keep 3 swappable sets of weapons and keep them keybound for speed and ease. They look as follows:
#1 Dual Wield (Sword X, Sword Y)
#2 Two-hander (Sword Z)
#3 Sword and Shield (Sword Y, Shield)
However, when using closetgnome, swapping between #1 and #3 don't happen. I get the shield, but have to press the key again to equip the sword that used to be in the offhand.
Can this be fixxed easily? Or am I stuck with itemrack for a while?
I can't stand how Closet Gnome automatically opens up all the Blizzard default bags whenever I try to Add/edit a set. And then it leaves open the main backpack when you are done. Really annoying. Especially if you use something like Baggins' or Onebag and don't use the default bags.
Jakobud, Baggins and OneBag should be hooking the OpenAllBags API function to open themselves instead, it is safe to taint.
CloseAllBags should also close the backpack, and Baggins and OneBag should be hooking and tainting it as well.
Bagnon already does so, and has done so for months.
Fekete, yes, I know, this is why CG is still in beta. You are stuck with ItemRack for the time being.
I get errors anytime I try to use the "Switcher" addon with ClosetGnome. The error is:
...Addons\ClosetGnome_Switcher\ClosetGnome_Switcher.lua:55: attempt to index field char (a nil value)
Also, if I try to disable the mod from the menu (by unchecking the enable option in the closetgnome menu) I get:
...Addons\ClosetGnome_Switcher\ClosetGnome_Switcher.lua:60 AceDB-2.0: Cannot call "ToggleActive" before "RegisterDB" has been called and before "ADDON_LOADED"
I've been using ClosetGnome since the release of TBC and never had an issue until I upgrade versions about 3-4 weeks ago. I've been updating my version every time I see a new one come out in hopes that this issue will be resolved, but so far no luck. Anyone have any advice as to how to resolve this?
I'll be able to look at this on wednesday, when I'm back home after easter - hopefully I can fix any issues regarding the database in Switcher, but I thought I already had.
Are you certain you have the latest version of AceDB-2.0 and that you have tried resetting your saved variables?

I'm having the exact same issue.
One thing I miss from ItemRack is the ability to assign icons to a set. Being able to tell at-a-glance which set you have equipped is nice.

Control Click on one of the items that you have defined for a set to set it as the set icon. Okay, I said set a lot in there. I think you can do it for any icon on your character frame, so it doesn't necessarily need to be in the set. I have only tried with equipped items in the set however.

I have tried both deleting the ClosetGnome folders in the addons folder and the closetgnome variables in the saved variable folders (tried deleting each, then both, same result). Is there a way to check my AceDB-2.0 version? That may be the underlying issue.
there is any chance to see implemented a function like trinket menu does with
queue swap and trinket buttons?
Yeah, hm, I have never tried TrinketMenu, but this sounds like something that could be added to SwapMagic?
i mean something like that 2 buttons visible on screen to use the trinkets and a option menu to create a queue for trinkets so if the first in queue is in cooldown it automatically swap to the second one in queue
L:RegisterTranslations("deDE", function() return {

Addons\ClosetGnome_Switcher\ClosetGnome_Switcher.lua:207: attempt to call method 'Wearset'(a nil value)
Tried reinstalling and clearing savedvariables.
Fixed it by removing self: in front of Wearset on line 207.
New problem though sets don't change when eating or drinking.
esdot, you can do /print AceLibrary("AceDB-2.0"):GetLibraryVersion() in-game to get your AceDB revision.
