Can anybody recommend a working (quest completion sounds) version (which rev?) that is also working correctly together with lightheaded (latest rev)?
When I click on a q-log entry inside nquestlog lightheaded opens the correct quest information but when I close the q-log and click on a different quest lightheaded always displays the infos from the former (and not the actual) q... :/
Do you mean just put Quixote inside the addons folder, or inside the Libs folder of nQuestLog?
;x
Replace the one in your Addons folder if you use externals. I have one in my Addons folder (newest version) and one in the Libs folder of nQuestLog (way older version, hasn't been updated in a while as I use externals).
WAU question - how do you have it not update a certain addon or library? (Besides just unchecking it every time)

Read wau faq (or if you're too lazy, I tell you here, create a folder named .svn in the addon folder you don't want to have updated.

windows(vista) won't allow a folder with the name .svn :(
So.. given neuron's post of June 25, is this addon likely to be updated at all from now on??
Has anyone officially taken over from him or is the addon just drifting at present?
It's such a great effort so far, I was thrilled to find it and immediately threw out all my other quest stuff, but if neuron's gone and not likely to come back that's pretty sad...
I think it may be drifting atm - no one's said that they will take it over officially. I rolled in Mazzle's fixes to it last week, but there's still the issue with the missing "work complete" sound. But that may be from a change in Quixote. I'm not much of a coder and don't know enough to really maintain a mod. :(
You just hide which quests you don't want to track.
I didn't mean for the minion, I meant for the quest log frame itself. The only thing I can see that would make this addon better is a dual pane for the quest log frame. It would pop open when you click on the quest name in your log. I saw it mentioned on the first page of this thread, but it's been a while since that was posted and I was wondering if it's a feature that could be added in.
If implemented, I suggest an option to turn the dual pane popup on or off for those who would rather not use this feature.
While not exactly what you are asking for, DoubleWide is an excellent double pane option for your quest log and works seamlessly with LightHeaded as well.

Highend
EDIT: Reverting back to an older version did not work. Is it a library issue?
I tried the deleting Saved Variables option, and it did not work either.
If you revert Quixote to version 41540 it works again.

You'll have to do it from the command line (mkdir .svn).
Are your addons embedded or disembedded?
If your libraries are embeded in addons, chances are you have another copy of Quixote somewhere that is newer.
I only have one problem with it: I'd like to request a dual pane for quest objectives that can be turned on or off if you want to use it or not.
Thanks.

Edit:
Looks like its working pretty well so here's the diff for someone to merge

Just an idea. ^_^
