Looking for some input / guideance on setting up sounds to certain events.
I belive I got the nightfall (shadowtrance) going fine, but I would like to setup a sound for when my rogue reaches 5 combo points.
I dont care about any event sounds for less than 5 combo, but would like to hear when 5 is atained.
What am I looking for, or if you already have a line of script for this, could you post it here?
I do use a mob called combat sound presently for this, but would like to drop another mod if I can get the features here.
Grayhoof, I wrote an addon for SCT fonts but I didn't implement it very well it is just a localization file replacement.Currently I am just replacing your localization.lua file for SCT and SCT_Options. Are there any hooks I can use to add fonts to the SCT choices in a more legitimate fashion?
Thanks Neriak. I'll some more updates in the next week or so.
Lewzephyr, SCT's custom events are based around combat log events for the most part. Since combo points don't show in the combat log, there really no way to that with custom events. You could easily add code to SCT to make it play sounds when you get get 5 combo points, but you'd have to go into the Lua to do it.
Lane, the easiest way to what you are wanting is just to insert the new fonts into the SCT tables, no need to overwrite the whole file. For example you would do this to add a new base font:
I seem to have a small bug, but i don't know if its from SCT (latest SVN version) or from some other addon (i only have about 80 or so installed including all the plugins and stuff ^^. I don't get any Text above my enemy anymore. Any ideas?
Ok, after finding the link to the official thread on the WoW forums "not found" and checking all 19 pages of this thread, and all 4 pages of comments on the mod's listing on WoWinterface, as well as Grayhoof's portal page there . . . I can't find what I'm looking for.
There used to be a huge long list of specific custom events to mark out individual spells/skills/etc., that Graguk or someone posted on the WoW Forums thread. Where can I find this now?
