Anyone else having issues with assessment not reporting past the 1st line? In /g and /o I just get one line, in a custom channel it sends the first line and then spams something about only being able to send a certain number of messages. Works fine in /say.
Also is there a way to show timestamps relative to a fight start rather than absolutes, ie when looking at flat death list for a boss fight show timestamps as 5.25 indicating 5 min 25 seconds after entering combat with the boss. Also is there a way to check fight length on a boss fight, you kind of can through activity but I think it is adding lots of time slices which might approximate fight length but not accurately represent it.

very frequently i cannot click on certain lines in the Assessment window. im talking about the top-level window where it lists damage done, healing done, deaths, kill list, decursing done, fight dmg done, fight healing done, dmg taken, etc etc.
what happens is i mouse over the lines, and click the one i want to look at. but every day, it seems one or more lines are unclickable. ill mouse over it but it doesnt highlight. i click anyway and nothign happens. i can still select most other lines, but the one or two or three lines all near each other cant be clicked.
and, starting yesterday, even with assessment window hidden (not shown anywhere on my UI), if i click in teh area where the window WOULD be if it werent hidden, it acts as though i'm clicking in the window. like if the window was in the lower-left corner of my ui, then i hide it, then mouse back to the lower-left corner and right-click or something, i get options for assessment, or even a pullout bar or something. pretty weird.
and also, i'm getting this error pretty much every day when clicking around in the window. i know it says Omen but it only happens when clicking in Assessment. i have the threat stuff in assessment all disabled.:
{
["message"] = "Dewdrop-2.0-48630 (DewdropLib):2813: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'left' (a nil value)\nDewdrop-2.0-48630 (DewdropLib):2984: in function `Open'\nOmen-2.1r50185\\OmenDisplay.lua:359: in function <Interface\\AddOns\\Omen\\OmenDisplay.lua:353>\n\n ---",
["type"] = "error",
["time"] = "2007/10/23 22:22:47",
["session"] = 2104,
["counter"] = 1,
}
one more quick question. i dont care about assessment looking at threat. can i delete modules\threat.lua to disable that portion of the mod? same for unitdata.
Just loaded this mod and I think I am going to love it. Hoping to dump SWstats, Recap and maybe Omen.
Perhaps this was posted, but I can't find anyreference on Searching.
After each solo mob kill, I get the following LUA error window:
"...\Assessment\CoreModules\CombatTimer.lua:192:attempt to perform arthimetic on field 'currentDurationOffset' (a nil value)"
Anyone else seen this error?
I think the only config flag I set before going out to test it was BigWigs fight sync flag. After the error, I turned it off, but same error pops each time.

Update: Deleted the mod from Addons and the SavedVariables, then reloaded a fresh copy. When into game and did not touch any setup options. Error did not occur. So now, I want to understand if there is a conflict with BigWigs. I will try in a raid tonight.
As there are a lot of Display Sets, would it be possible to sub-group them? Problem is that you probably need a tag for each to sort them by type, like damage, taken, healing etc. Or just sub on alphabetic or something like that. I got a fairly high res screen and its still covers hole height + bunch of scrolling up/down. :)
the bug with shaman heals only happen with french client, I am using an english client but a guildmate told me about it.
Hi Schmurf :)
I confirm, bug with the shaman heals, who doesn't appear in assessment and violation, maybe a traduction problem with french client, sometimes when there's 2 shamans in the raid one is displayed correctly and the second isn't.
hi,
i changed the font for the bars, but now the Death Recent Event Log only shows ... in the first column, is it somehow possible to change the width of the column so i can see the numbers ?
Ok so, always trying to improve UI look, i'd like with Assessment to have all the bar using a single color (i tried using Custom as said with /print assessment.colortype, but they all went yellow and no way to change) and instead, color the name ala Pitbull [Name:ClassColor]

Would that be possible ?
To get a consistent color on all of the bars, just leave the color type entry empty, and set the default color for each bar.
You'll need to hack in a ClassColor tag into GroupMembers.lua though to change the color of the text. Maybe I'll add that in the next few days when I finish some travelling.

Go to display sets -> Death Recent Event Log -> Text -> Text1 and adjust the offsets so that there's enough space to show the new font.

Bah, i suck at .lua pro editing, and this one is a bit complicated for me, guess i'll wait :)
I really really like this mod, and there's just a quick question I have about it.
Tonight we were attempting BB but because of Hollowe'en we just didn't have the right group composition so we called it. At the end of the raid our only mage wanted to know how many times he had buffed Amplify Magic...
I was just wondering how the amount of buff's a person receives are counted. They're not in aura but with some customization could they appear there? Or do I need to create a new data set...
Is there a possibility to view who healed whom and who dealt damage to who? Like Recount has.
Someone suggested something similar before i think:

I've been trying to create a new display set, and i got the basics under control. However i'm stuck on creating a details view.
I've added a new display set that shows HealingTaken. Now i want a details view, that shows who healed me for how much. The other details views use the list type 'EnumerateData' but that shows up empty on my screen. Ive tried changing it to 'HealersList' but this shows the complete healing done, instead the healing done on me. Can anyone tell me how i should configure this? Thanks in advance!
Edit: I fiddled with List Data Tag, and when i set it to 'healingDone,[WindowParameter(1)],healDetails' it shows me some healing spells, but the values seem off? When i change it to 'healingTaken,[WindowParameter(1)],healDetails' i see better results, but id rather see it per person instead of per spell.
I love this addon and would really appreciate if developer or anyone authorized could add new display sets that would give such data:
- list of ppl who got the most healing (healing taken)
- list of ppl who did this person heal (healing breakdown)
- list of ppl who was this person healed by (healing info)
- list of ppl who did damage to this target (damage to target)
- list of mobs who did this person damage (damage breakdown)
This would greatly improve finding out, if people are following their dps/healing assignments on delicate fights.

is there any Web App that can show up the gathered data of assessment?
Same problem, i can't open assessment :
I tried without bigwigs, without fubar, that's not better...
here's the error message and the addons I use (i use the friench client) :

Thank you for your time.
I'd like to have a display of dot uptime and another one which is something along the lines of (damageDone*0.05/manaRegennedByVampiricTouch).
I know WWS does this, I'm just curious if it's possible to do in game with Assessment,
