Sorry for bugging, but i have another idea for a feature :)
Assessment tracks gains nicely. But until now it tracks only the count of "player/you gain xxx" and the sum of the effects. To determine the proc rate of effects with a duration (from trinkets, talents, items) it would be nice if Assessment would track "xxx fades from player/you" too and display the percentage of the sum of all the times where the gain was active relative to the combat duration. All current active gains should end at end of combat too, though.
This would eliminate the need for addons like Uptime Meter (which only tracks a single gain anyway)
i have a problem hope people can fix it for me :D
using newest version ( has been same for all versions).
atm when i view teh DEATH LIST and click through to get a deaths details up
it shows like this
[... HEAL 5000]
[... Melee 6000]
[... Death]
Now i assume the "..." should show timestamps
i thought it might be the width too small but ive stretched it and its not that ive search for a setting but.. nope

Just for testing, can I get you to remove ParserLib and LibParser-4.0 and just have Parser-3.0 running to see if there's something going weird there with memory?
Just recently downloaded this and am checking it out. I might be missing it but is there an option or a way to get an absolute value on display sets rather than an abbreviated value (i.e 148571 damage instead of 148k?

Just modify the text tags (display set -> <display set name> -> text -> text#) to use [BarValue] instead of [BarValue:Short]
So does anybody have a solution to getting assessment to show Instant DPS rather than combat time DPS?
Thanks to lightstrike on Elitist Jerks forums, Asssessment r52520 now has an activity module; and comes with Instant DPS and a few other extra display sets by default.
I just tried this addon and it's really great one.
I'm trying to config it but may be i'm missing some things (read all the thread), i'm pretty newbish with some things that may be so evident for you.
I'd like to see for exemple the healing taken, who healed who but i can't figure it out..

Great feature, and seems to work correct. I don't really know how to check the data though. I see that it does include npc's in the instant dps log.
F.e. checking it on Illidan today, where my rogue total damage is bit lower than normal due too the nature of that fight, I can see that it is as it should be compared with activity and instant dps.
Please not :(
While I like Violation's spying, one should note SWS has a similar "scope" to Violation.
Assessment is a completely different addon, providing a detail worlds beyond of what SWS or Violation do - at the cost of an "amazing" usage of memory.
It's just a different "mod type", kinda. It's comparable to Recount or Recap, but not to Violation or DM or SWS.
Any plans to add graphs? Being able to track total raid dps (pardon me, if it's already there, tried to find it, but couldn't
Total Raid DPS is shown in the title of the DPS window.
Graphs would just punt the memory usage too high though, IMO. Assessment's incredible load of data is already using up a lot, can just use Recount if you want Graphs, IMO.
(better to have addons with different uses than having the 150MB one-for-all addon)
Well I tried to get a view for Raiddps based on damagetype but I couldn't get it working right. I think it should be possible but I don't know how :-/
That would be interesting for me because there was the question if the Curse of Elements is needed or if the Warlock does better with an other curse.
Is there a possibility to view who healed whom and who dealt damage to who? Like Recount has.
Thanks.
I dunno if that's not already in, check what happens if you click fully into Healing details. Although I think it stops at "Per Spell Details".
And yeah, then I agree. Although I wonder, maybe it's there, someone know the tagsequence to display it?
(Remember in Assessment, the user can compile new info-lists from tagsequences)

Try changing the text offsets in menu:
Display Sets/Death Times/Text/Text 1/Offsets
