ok so i tried downloading, the 2.4 one manually and i popped it into my addons folder, and first thing was it complained about no embedded libraries so i popped those in and then it broke a decent amount of my other mods and still didnt work. is there something im missing?
The '2.4' branch is what I've been working on - including a bunch of lib updates. Sano's been working on modules, but his core still pulls in parserlib last I checked. Eventually, I'd like to merge the 2.4/library updates with his modules into trunk.
The one I got from the SVN (the most recent commit) is kinda nice, I just wish more functionality was easy to add - I don't understand the code :(
Threat especially would be funky, but one could kinda implement Threat-2.0's Single-Target, Overview and AE modes as three separate threat-subcategories instead of the previous single Threat-display.
The Healer Mode I'd drop - it's incredibly content-less even in Omen2, all it does it display so many bars with 3-4 tanks that I'm better off doing the healing manually by paying attention to the fight on the screen. (information overload syndrome)
So yeah, I'd leave that one out since it'd cause problems with the display, anyways.
Well, I've tried to figure this all out but it simply isn't happening. I downloaded the TortoiseSVN program and poked through the included manual, but it assumes I know far more than I do about this stuff. I do not work with computers on a daily basis, as I am a field biologist and spend my days mostly out in a marshland. If any of you computer savvy folk could explain this process to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been pining for a usable version of Assessment since the patch, even if it's just the basics.
Edit: Thank you ever so much, Phanx. You save me yet again.
1. Create a new folder in your AddOns folder called "Assessment". It must be empty, so if it already exists delete everything inside of it.
2. Right-click on the empty "Assessment" folder. Assuming you installed TortoiseSVN correctly, you'll have a "TortoiseSVN" submenu in your context menu. Select the "Checkout" command from within this submenu.
