Is there a simple way to reset the display posistion of the various gui windows? I accidentally dragged the points distribution window off the screen and was only able to get it back by manually editing the LUA file with its posistion.
Thanks for the reply Eraslin, unfortunately the lack of a consistently working exports it with CT and no way for us to import the info from DKPmon export has caused our guild to look for another DKP management solution. I continue to check back and look around to see if there is any way for us to continue using the great add-on you created.

Sure thing; you've gotta go with what works for you. If you're still reading, could you elaborate on these "nothing but problems" that you're having with the CTRT-xml? I can't possibly hope to fix something, if I don't know what the thing I'm fixing is. :-P
That pretty much goes for everyone, I don't run an eqDKP install at all; so I rely on the users to tell me when something isn't working with the CTRT-xml stuff. And, not just that "it doesn't work" but what doesn't work (example xml strings), what eqDKP does with it, what it's supposed to do, etc. Including your DKPmon savedvariables file can also help a tonne in figuring this stuff out.
Been looking at this addon along with Xero's EPGP module to it; however, the last couple posts have me concerned.
We used to use a fixed DKP system that was posted on the site; however, as the author of the site has pretty much vanished from the face of the earth I'm left with trying to figure out how to get our DKP system over to a new one with 25-man raids.
I don't use CTRT as it has always skipped items and had various issues when I tried it a year or so ago so have been relying on our other DKP program which keeps track of those drops.
So I have a couple questions that I haven't seen answers for (and yes, I've read the README's and such):
1. Does DKPMon track drops (items, DKP points, DKP points spent, etc)?
2. Can that data be uploaded to a web interface (even if it's EQDKP)? And in this regard I'm not talking about just being able to upload the items and people but the points and everything else for the raid. Reading the website it's a bit sketchy on whether this is possible or not...

1. Yes it does track drops, kills, attendance, points spent/earned, etc.
You can also grab the points via eqdkp and load them in the game to keep them updated via a provided php file.
2. Yes it can be updated via eqDKP, but there are some limitations.
For example, depending on how you like to do your raids, you might get one raid event with every boss you kill or you
get a raid event for each boss. The latter requires you to start/stop log files for each and every kill.
The main problem most people have, along with all other dkp tracking tools, is the setup and configuration. Once it's setup and working the way you want, it's fairly easy to keep updated, but it's the getting there part that usually sucks.

I've tried playing around with it...does DKPMon show you a window with everybody's EP/GP/PR? I saw the option in Bidder to see DKP so is that where I need to look? All I see via that window is what I assume is the PR (using the EPGP mod for DKPMon). Just wondering if there was a way to see the EP/GP/PR separately.
We usually do one raid with every boss killed...I really don't want to start/stop the logs each time, LOL...so would only need to start at the beginning of the raid.
As to the first point, when you say grab the points via EQDKP and load them what all is involved with that? Is there an EQDKP addon I need to also load, or is there a parser I feed the DKPMon data into or what? Not too familiar with EQDKP so not sure how the data would get from point A (in-game) to point b (website)...

What was really frustrating was that the DKPmon-xml actually worked fine when we'd get that error, but there was no way to import that information. ;-(

The PHP file is included with dkpmon_eqdkp, you just configure it and run it from your webserver then go to the dkpmon plugin and hit import and it pulls the data in to your database in game.
I can't help you on the EPGP stuff as I don't use it, but bidder shows the points to individuals and you can query any class/player points from there.

I'm perty sure I fixed that a few weeks ago. The DKPmon-xml is almost completely useless because somebody said they were going to write an eqDKP plugin to import it but never did afaik.

So if I use EPGP I would still have to run DKPMon_EQDKP with it to have the web-available data?
When doing an import by way of single event logging (as you stated to do earlier E), I get several members data jacked up.
It resets their race, class, level and rank to unknown/0/blank
Attached is the log output via export ctrt/eqdkp and at the bottom is the output after the import is done.
That was actually Arrowmaster who was working on that. I can't think of why it would do that off the top of my head, but I'll do some peeking around to see if I can't figure it out.
Yeah I found out why it was doing that. Blame the retarded CTRT import plugin for eqDKP that completely ignores the PlayerInfos section of the XML but instead wants all that info in the Join section.

Oh, well, isn't that brilliant. Undocumented grammars for the lose!

Great.. so, is there any hope to getting a server side import to work with the dkpmon export? in any format? Cause as it stands right now I can't keep adding raids and then going in and resetting everyones lvl/etc every single time.
Attached is the gruul export from tonight, and it only seems to want to jack with 'some' of the people it imports and not everyone... no idea why and it's not the same people each time. In fact I can import it over and over again and it's different people just about every time.
Trying to use the DKPMon_EPGP addon for the EPGP system. It appears to work fine until I click the Decay button to decay the points and get the following error:
Interface\AddOns\DKPmon_EPGP\epgp.lua:629: attempt to call method 'GetTable' (a nil value)

Anybody have a clue what to do with this? I didn't know if I should start a new thread for that or somebody was using it here and could help...

Looking at the xml you attached, you're not using the latest version that arrowmaster tried to fix; the latest version doesn't generate a <PlayerInfos> section in the xml at all. Try using the version that arrowmaster updated (the latest in the svn), and then let us know if it still doesn't work.

Hrm, I update via WAU daily but to verify I just grabbed both DKPMon and eqDKP and tried again, the result is attached.
It still messed with a few people and there is no playerinfos section

Based on the comments at the bottom of the attached file, am I correct in assuming that the players that were messed up were: Elementalone, Lashe, Maksaul, Malvos, and Naelia?
If so, I'm not sure why they're messed up. All of their information is in the xml, and appears to be correct. For example, here's the Join tag for Elementalone:
<key11><player>Elementalone</player><time>08/12/07 22:23:19</time><level>70</level><race>Tauren</race><class>SHAMAN</class></key11>

That's correct, however if I load that same file 3 or 4 times, the names are not always the same.

Oooh, that's really messed up. So, loading the exact same xml string into your CTRT-eqDKP plugin results in, essentially, random behaviour? Yikes! I wonder if there's some sort of bug with the CTRT plugin for eqDKP...
