This is a fantastic addon - even at Alpha stage. I'm sure you will add scaling and other nifty features soon, but right now it is absolutely fantastic. Great having categories back!!! One thing that is sorely needed - the ability to have bank and inventory open and right click on items to move them back and forth. Doesn't work right now and that's a show-stopper for me. Back to Bagnon, but I'll keep an eye on this.
-- Is there a way to change the size of the inventory buttons (non-filtered) as they show when opening the inventory? Need them a bit bigger as I have my UI scaled down. Maybe I can do it by modifying combuctor.xml?
abselute awesome addon... searched for a good bag mod but this is exact what i want.... fantastic.. keep up the good work.
i only would wish that the next alpha-release is draggable.
greetings from germany
It is draggable, it just doesn't remember the position between logins (at least on my system). Alt-Leftclick on the bag name (<soandso's Inventory') and drag the mouse.
Uhh....news!
Combuctor's progress is really dependent on when I feel like coding :)
Great addon, I am long time bagnon user and replaced it with this.
I noticed when you dont click on main back pack you gets lots of ghost frames. I started using my main bar from curse which drops your bags down to one on the bar. This seems to be a quick fix for those who forget to only click main pack.
another feature i would like to see is a compress item button when viewing all. that way all empty spots in main veiw frame would be together.
I really like this addon and the only thing that prevents me from replacing bagnon with it is that when I click through the tabs and go back to "all" the items are gone. I tried every possible click and used the search field etc. but there is no way to get them back in the "All"-Tab (the other tabs works fine).
I would like a compress-button like the poster before me and a "scale ui"-function.
When you implement configurable categories someday i hope you can add a "ClosetGnome"-Kategory like Bagnon. A "Mark new items" function would also be nice.
Thx for your great work on it and have great succeed. (sry for my english ;P i'm german)
I've found that it hides slots at times. My tooltip says I have a certain amount of something in my inventory or bank and even using search it doesn't show up.
I discovered this when emptying my mailbox and not all items showing up in the inventory. Even after closing and opening combuctor again or relog. Turning the addon off made the items appear again in their regular bags. So they are there, but combuctor "misses" them for some reason. This doesn't produce an error in the bugsack, so can't provide any reference other than my experience.
Been using the 3.0 alpha without any issues. My only request is to be able to close the bag frame by hitting the escape key without simultaneously opening the game menu (options, key bindings, log out, etc.).
Yeah I'm aware of the docking issues. The close on escape thing is fixed in the development version.
In the latest svn build I've modified how the tabs work a bit. Side tabs control your major category (all items, equipment, etc) and the bottom ones control sub categories. So when you're viewing equipment for example, your bottom tabs will switch to show different types of equipment:
The side buttons have also been changed to: All, Equipment, Usable, Quest, Trade Goods, Ammo/Shards, and Miscellaneous
* All is divided by bag type ( Normal, Trade, Ammo/Shard, and Keys). Its also the only category which shows empty slots.
* Equipment is divided into Armor, Weapons, and Trinkets.
* Usable is divided into Consumable and Devices (engineering stuff).
* Trade Goods now includes both Gems and Recipes.
* Ammo/Shards is a bit redundant. I've included it because I want to add a count to the button. It also happens to cover things that are not in your ammo bag.
These categories are not set in stone obviously. If anyone has any suggestions, please give them to me :)
Thanks Tuller, was it an intentional change that searching now behavies more like bagnon (hiding instead of removing and resizing) I certainly preferred the old behavior of the alpha.
The search also seems a bit hit or miss on what it's matching for me.
I got this today. I am not sure what I was doing when it happened though. :-(

I am getting same error. I was trying to search for an item in back pack.

It's driving me nuts and I love this addon!
Much <3 if you could fix it.

I realized that I forgot to say this in my post above, so: thanks for the spiffy mod!
