I just tried to update to the most recetn Ackis Recipe List from WowAceUpdater and it caused major problems with Bongos3Gamma1. Bongos works fine when RecipeList is not installed, but as soon as I install it, my buttons disappear and none of the Bongos features work - I just get constant errors. I can downgrade to 0.82 from Curse and it works just fine, it's just the most recent version from WoWAce that messes up Bongos.
Hope you can figure it out - I really like this addon. Thanks for all the hard work.
Hi,
I also have problems concerning the latest version of ARL from WAU.
It messes up with Omen, Recount, Bagnon and SCT. Even though those addons are shown in my addon list and marked as activated they won't show up ingame and even the slash commands e.g. /omen don't work and just cause a message from wow about using /help for getting more slash commands.
After trying several things I found out that deactivating ARL brought back those other addons to my game.
BTW: I like and already miss your addon :(
Thx
Here's the first few errors I get from ARL with the latest version (edit: version 71567). It hoses many many things (Omen, Eavesdrop, Recount, etc). Definitely one of my favorite addons though!

When I click on the plus signs nothing happen at all. So no none of the recipes expand to show their information.
The same is happening for me. US Client, fair amount of addon usage. I'm also using Advanced Tradeskill Window - I'll go back in and remove that to see if there's a conflict somehow.
Update: it works fine with stock tradeskill windows, and also works fine with Skillet. Only with Adv Tradeskill Window is there a problem with the + signs in the window not responding to click to expand the entry.
In addition, also with ATSW loaded, you cannot get the ARL button to appear on the stock crafting window if you shift-click the crafting action button (forcing ATSW to not display, but instead display the stock window.)
Also, your ARL button conflicts with the "I" and "AC" buttons for Armorcraft ( http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info6752-ArmorCraftFanUpdate.html ) Not sure whose issue that is to fix, but it's something to keep in mind if you would like to add some "defensive" coding to your addon.
ATSW issue is fixed. For some reason the ATSW frame extends wider that you actually see. It was basically having invisibleness overtop of ARL window and not letting you click through. :)
I'm going to see about making the entire recipe clickable to expand it tomorrow :)

Ackis, firstly thanks for this mod, I appologise if this question has already been addressed before but is their a reason that ARL uses 25-35% of the interface CPU time reported by resource tools mod.
I understand that this isnt indicating that its using 35% of my main cpu but I am curious as Im sure it doesnt need to be using this much when i dont even have the tradeskill window open.

I'm sure the CPU will be reduced once ARL will be LOD.

ARL is being blamed for all the library add-ons (ace3, etc) which other mods are using. Running disembeded, ARL uses 0 cpu time and about 500-600kb of memory. Only the memory usage will go down when I make things LoD. The only processing that is really done by the mod is when you click the scan skills button.
Sience you moved the 'Scan Skills' button, I can't click it, when it's at the top I can only move the frame (whole skill frame) but can't click the button.
i got my first error today using this addon and i've been using it for some time lol since you /commanded to see what you was missing :/ anyway gl and thanks for updating those mistypes and what not i posted

I totally confirm this :)
ARL "just use" static memory unless you hit scan button.
Ackis, it seems you still look for some options ideas, and i have some feedback from my guild:
Could it be possible to add filtering options by type for some tradeskills?
Example: Leatherworking produces leather and mail equipment.
And some would like to ONLY show leather or mail recipes.
I think this could be extended for other tradeskills ... like gem colors for Jewelcraft; Armor type/weapons for Blacksmith ....
I dont know if ARL makes some tooltip scanning, or if the "mail/leather" part of a recipe is included in the recipe ID.
But dont add bunches of code to add an "almost so useless" option if it pleases you :D
Ok, I found the problem why I couldn't click the button, it was Mobile Frame addon that was causeing the problem, had to disable being able to move the frames for my tradeskill frames and it works :)

Similar problem here. I use DragQueen so I can reposition windows (say, tradeskill window while at the bank) without worrying about un-repositioning them. Can't speak for other mods, but DragQueen more or less takes over the title bar of the window (it even has an option to show drag-bars and said bars are grey strips across the top of the window). This obviously can cause issues - Postal has some drop-down menu or another there but once I configured it on an alt with DragQueen disabled I could re-enable DQ and run just fine afterwards. The button below the frame worked fine, though it was partially hidden by CGCrafty. The "ARL" button whatever revision I had before today's update had was mostly covered by DQ's "handle" but I could still click on it with a bit of effort - vaguely annoying but still fine. Today's "Scan Skills" button is being odd...
* I open a trade window and I can't click on it.
* I cause a window to be opened to the left of the trade window (character screen's a good example), I still can't click on it.
* I cause a window to open to the left of the trade window (social, for example, or the mailbox), and now I can click on the button.
I don't know what it is about opening a window to the left, but once I do that I can click on the button until I close and re-open the window. If the button can be convinced to stay on top, super. If a secondary location not on the bar can be made an option, also super. And worse case if I have to fiddle a window open and shut (now that I know that that works), that's a small enough issue for me to be willing to live with it. Nifty enough add-on to be worth a bit of fuss. :-)

says it drops from enchanted stagehand in kara when it's actually dropped from "Phantom Stagehand" in kara
