Feature Request: I'm not sure if this has been asked for yet, but can you add support for timers similar to the buff/debuff timers that would show up below the totem icons? I think TotemTimers supports something like this. It would be nice to see them either the "1:59" format or "2m" format. The current timer bars work fine, but they take up too much of my screen.
I used to pull the totems i need for the upcoming fight out of the little bars into the 4 buttons. This was possible while having the button lock activated (which means the bars hide while mouse is not over). Please bring back this functionality. Using totemsets is not an option for me, as there would be more sets than totems for all the various encounters.
An option to replace the timerbars, that are pretty space consuming, with numbers above/below/inside the totembar would be realy nice, maybe with different colors/flashing.
1. is it still planned to eventually include gotwood's functionality into yata?
2. is global cooldowns going to be implemented? also, as someone already requested, greying out of buttons when you don't have enough mana would be nice.
3. is there a way to have all the totems always show, instead of popup?
4. as already requested, i too would like to see simple tooltips, maybe something like what the default blizzard ui can do (Strength of Earth Totem Rank 3, for example).
@Krabat: Might be some buggy feature you used, wasn't ever intended to work.
1.) Yes, no eta (probably mid/end february)
2.) GC is already in, red/grey out soonish
3.) Different totem layouts are on the todo list, just takes a lot of work to get them properly working.
4.) On the Todo list
1.) maybe, would need to create buttons on the fly. no eta, no guarentees
2.) a simple string parser for custom totem macros is planned, no eta.
Hmm, I think my suggestion is similar to what Krabat mentioned.
I'd like to be able to right click (or shift-click, ctrl-click, whatever) on a totem in the popup menu to move it to the "active" totem slot for that element. Then be able to use the macro to stomp whichever four totems are in the "active" slots currently (Is this possible already? I couldn't find a way of doing it).
I find this a much easier method of switching totems than having to manage sets, as I often just need to switch in a resist or curing totem for one particular fight.
Not sure if it's really within the scope of this addon, but it would be nice to see it considered.
ive been working on a plugin for cyCircled for Yata and cant seem to get it working, i grabbed the fram names via Vizor2GUI, any chance i could have grabbed the wrong frames?
you can see the plugin code i came up with in the cyCircled thread http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=2746.280
was thinking maybe having the incorrect framenames was what was triggering my cyCircled error.
thanks for any help ;)
cheers on a kickass totem mod (all my guild's shamans are using it now hehe)
I can't seem to get different sets to work...I could be setting them up incorrectly. I figured that you just have to configure the bar the way you want it and then go into the fubar menu and click "Add" and type in the name of the set. However, once I create a set and then select another set nothing changes. :(
This add-on rocks, big thanx to author.
Some ideas, dunno if some1 has already asked this:
1. Timer bar layout changing possibility.
2. Keybinding text row longer (i have all the totems bound on Num1 ~ Num4, and it's not showing the full key name).
3. Cooldown count on totem bar main buttons.
@lacindas: Frame names should be fine. Actually the reason why there is currently no proper cycircled support is, that sometimes the popup buttons won't keep the circled layout, as some might have seen weeks ago with the BorderFrame, which popped up once in awhile and stayed. No idea why and no eta on that.
@kogepan81: 2. Yes, thats on the todo list to shorten the keybinding names. no eta there
