Because another user already complaint several times about the "color bug" regarding the german version of the game I did not post but waited for an answer.
But it seems no one seems to bother. I scrolled through the pages of this thread an did not find an answer. So I repeat the request:
In the German version of the game client, there are male and female versions of the classes. There is no problem with the guild tab coloring in Auld Lang Syne. But on the friendlist, all female characters are colored grey. I suppose it is because some check does not return true due to the fact that the female class name is different from the mal one.
Will this be fixed? Can this be fixed? Is there anything we can do to help getting it fixed? It's really annoying.
Posting over and over about the same issue, on the same page, isn't going to get it fixed faster. The actual author of AuldLangSyne is MIA, so the only fixes being committed right now are by users. I've already posted (on this page even) that I will look into this problem when I have time, but I have several addon projects of my own that I am currently spending quite a bit of time developing, I raid, I work, I'm leveling a hunter, and the issue doesn't affect me as I don't play in the German client, so I'm sorry, but it will simply have to wait until either the author returns, or myself or another user with Lua knowledge has the time to try to fix it. :(
Well, I am not getting any errors, but it seems Auld is no longer working as intended.
Presently I have deleted my old SV to see if that will correct the issue. But no go.
Auld no longer sync's between characters, it no longer populates the friends list with Guild info after doing a /who. Showing when you last saw the person online. etc.
The only feature that still remains in place is the ability to make notes per character.
Any suggestions? Is there an alternative? About to pull down Tek's Friends with Benefits mod for the sync feature.
