Yup, just checked in an updated version that (should be) using PT-3.1. There was no earthshattering KaBOOM, but I'm still testing all the nooks and crannies.
Thank you for the quick reply. I am using the ArmorCraft(Fan update) version and the odd thing is the right hand equipment window is open and you can see the list but while the left hand equipment window is open its blank I cannot see anything in it.
I was able to reproduce this and have checked in a possible fix. I was having a lot of trouble getting this to fail consistently so I'm not 100% sure the change I put it will work in all cases. Please try out the newest version of Skillet and let me know how it works for you.
Secondly I noticed a lag when I am crafting BS items. Its seem the simpler items lag only slightly but when I crafted a Truesilver Champion for my warrior the screen locked up for about 5 seconds before coming free again. Seems the more complex a item is the more laggier it is.
Hmmm. More complex items probably use more reagents and cuase more inventory changes when they are crafted. It could be that the code that tracks inventory changes it slowing things up. I'll poke around and see what I can find.
It would be nice to be able to both open and close AckisRecipeList when clicking the Scan button. It would be awesome for a quick despair check right after you learned 5 recipes in a row. ;)
This will have to be done by Ackis, I don't have any control over the behaviour of the button.
Adding support for RPG Outfitter's CharacterProfiler (preferred) and/or MyBags's MyBagsCache as bank/inventory storage method(s).
Embedding OneBag's OneStorage library as a fall back storage method when no 3rd-party one is available, so that Skillet would become self sufficient in this department.
I've filed the request for RPG Outfitter's (etc) as http://jira.wowace.com/browse/SKL-55. I'm not really keen to have Skillet track inventory itself as there are just so many mods out there that doa much better job at it and I don't want to make Skillet more complex than it has to be.

Ah, I see! Thanks for the information. I'll search ARL's thread and ask there.

That's reasonable, yes. In any case, you might have that in a "wish list" for when Skillet is feature complete and stable, rather than in its "to do" list, i.e., something to look into when bored (if at all), not amounting to as much as a requirement.
And thank you for looking into adding CharacterProfiler etc. support! It's really amazing how Skillet can use all these different storage methods. And one less addon storing (again) inventory, bank etc. information, all the while being able to access this information stored by another, is always a beautiful sight.
Mate the green flare appears randomly when i queue something else even after rescan etc. Also the clear button does not seem to work. When i open windows queue is still up. but if i remove one by one then its ok. Good luck :)
Tried to open engineering on my mage through tcgTradeskills. Skillet didnt open, got the blizzard window instead, and an error:
SkilletStitch-1.1-55629 (Skillet):336: Usage: GetItemDataByIndex('profession', index)

Opened it twice via AutoBar after that. Skillet opened this time, but I got;

Interface\FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:998: in function <Interface\FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:979>:
I read through the whole thread and didn't see anyone else having this issue.
When I queue up several items (i tried it with potions and gems), they get added to the queue list.
When I click start, it only crafts the first line of items and then it pauses. I have to manually click continue each time it switches to a different item.
Is this normal behavior? I tried Skillet first and thought it was a bug.. but I get the same thing using ATSW. It's my first time trying an advanced tradeskill addon. I have quartz, auctioneer, and a few other addons. I'll take steps to see if it's a conflict, but figured I'd ask in the meanwhile if anyone has any ideas.

Yes, it is normal behavior. In a previous patch (months ago) Blizzard removed the ability from addons to auto-click the craft button. So, the only thing they can do nowadays is to select a recipe and wait until the player actually click the button, then select another recipe and wait, then select another recipe and wait, and so on and so forth.

Yes, mods cannot cast spells/use abilities for you. You have to tell it to continue with each step. This was from 2.0.
Nogudnik, just to let you know that the fix for the ArmorCraft (Fan update)issue has been working since the update. Kind of. This is what I had to do to get it working. I first deleted the Skillet add on file and the Skillet SavedVariables files. I then reinstalled Skillet with WoWAceUpdater. And relogged my characters. (Quite a bit to do as I got characters doing all the professions) However I initially did not see anything in the left hand ArmorCraft pane though I did in the right hand one. Then I logged off, disabled Skillet and relogged in. The ArmorCraft window showed up normally. Then I logged off, re enabled Skillet relogged in and wouldn't you know it ArmorCraft and Skillet now work together. I don't know what happened here but happy that I got these two working together again.
When does Skillet recognize the recipe AFTER it has just recently been learned?
I'm guessing that the database gets updated AFTER Skillet is restarted.
I'm working from memory as I don't have the code in front of me right now. If the Skillet window is not open when the recipe is learned, then it will not know about the recipe until the window (for that tradeskill) is opened the next time.
great mod.

one request; is there a way for things that you can craft to show up in the craftable count.
example
silk robe shows up as [0/0/0] because i do not have any bolts of silk made. but i have silk. so if i click silk robe it'll make the bolts click start again and the robe gets made.
this would be most helpful especially for engineers who need to keep track of hands full of bolts...etc.

Any access to a global variable by a mod will taint it. This is not a big deal and can be ignored. The only taint issues that we need to worry about are those that cause actions to be blocked. Try searching your taint.log for "An action was blocked" to see if you have any serious problems caused by Skillet (or any other mod) tainting the codebase.
I'm having 2 categories with the same name for Tailor & Leather worker, specifically the cloth/leather armor pieces and the bolts/hides share the same name within thier respective professions. When I collapse one, the other does as well. Also, would it be possible for the frame to remember which categories were expanded/collapsed, as having to redo that every time when I am bouncing between profs (mostly Mining & Blacksmith/Engineer/Jewelcrafter), it's frustrating when the item I want is in a lower category.
