i would have another suggestion for the use of right click with sphere...
I would like to use sphere instead of totemus, ie mainly for totems (+ spare menu for other things).
What i like in totemus is the fact that when you use a totem, it become the "default" totem, so you can cast it again without poping the menu.
Would it be possible to have something like that:
Button 0 being the one appearing without oppening the menu, 1-12 the other ones.
Button 0: left click: use
Richt click: open/close menu
Button 1-12: left click: use and replace button 0
Right click: just use withou changing button 0.
I feel it's not clear, so let's me illustrate it with an exemple...
Let's say i'm in raid with a caster groupe.
I chose the according totems for each category using left click, so that they become "default" button, and i can cast them back without poping menu.
then i want to use Fire/elem or mana tide, hop, i right click on them so that they don't become default button.
Then later i'm moved to melee group, i change the default buttons by left clicking them so they become defaut button, etc etc...
(PS: this could be usefull even for something else than totem.. let's say i have a food menu. default is basic food, and i want to be able to use juste once a buff food. And when i have a mage available, make conjured food the default one...)
Would it be possible?
Hello, I was once a Lunarsphere user, but when I found out this is like, almost the same without any extra's I don't need, the decision to switch was pretty easy.
Anyway, I don't know if this is mentioned before, but when I disable the inner circle (with everything on none/disabled etc of the inner circle options), the portrait of the cover circle uses the space of the inner circle. But whenever I relog, I see a part (like, half of the circle, the top part) from the inner circle again while the portrait of the cover circle is still "thinking" the inner circle is disabled. So a part of the portrait is covered by a part of the inner circle. I can fix this by just enable/disable the inner circle again, but rather have this on automatic then on manual :D
Also, for warlocks, you can easily use this or any other Sphere mod while using the addon Fortewarlock (which you can get at www.fortegaming.com), it works like a charm and together they are a nice replacement for Necrosis.
Love the mod, the only problem I have with it is it spews errors when I enter combat unless I disable the MODIFIER_STATE_CHANGED event in Buttons.lua. When that event fires it tries to hide/show buttons it seems, which is not allowed in combat.
The other feature I'd love is for the mod to be able to use cyCircled skins rather than it's own for buttons.

While this is true about showing/hiding buttons, you can do this right as you enter combat in PLAYER_REGEN_DISABLED. But anyways, what line number do you get the error on and what type/show status/unit is the bars throwing the errors in combat?
i dont know why but i just downloaded sphere cause it sounds awesome but i cant see it nowhere =( i double checked that i activated it but i cant find it and if i enter /sphere i just get the thing about chat stuff
I just downloaded this mod and it looks really good. I deciding on whether or not to use this for my main atm, a lv66 hunter. I currently use Venantes for my sphere needs and really only a couple minor changes are needed for sphere to be my main or at least leave no doubt as to which to use.
Basically, as far as I can tell, currently Sphere only allows right-clicking to open button menus, it'd be nice to select which button to use (the addon seems to have this in it but doesn't let me click the button for right-click menu, left-click, or middle-click. I am just used to left-clicking via venantes.
Also, for us hunters or anyone else who uses a gun or thrown weapons, it'd be nice to put an ammo count somewhere like maybe in place of the text in the sphere center.
Lastly, whenever I drag anything all the empty buttons (since I use menu mode on all buttons) appear everytime. It'd be nice to make unused buttons invisible and unselectable, a toggle in the options for instance. It just occured to me that there may be a lock feature i missed so sorry if this is already in it.

Buttons -> Settings -> Menu Button - Select which button(s) you want it to use
Lock the Sphere (Shift Click the icon) to lock in which it wont show unused buttons when dragging something
Ammo count etc is planned and probably next update.
OK, I'm a noob and would like to try this addon, currently using necrosis but no good for my other alts. Downloaded and installed the zip file, shows in my addons screen when loading WoW but then nothing? No sphere or anything when i play my character. Does it need loading? If so how?. Tried typing /sphere load for example. Help and advice would be appreciated.

You are probably missing on of the libs, do you use WAU to update? If so, you can update with externals and it should correct it.
I personally run !!!standalonelibs (disembeded), so I rarely run into this.
Thanks for that. I just downloaded the svn zip file from http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Sphere and installed that to my addons directory. I assumed everything in needed was in there. What am i missing?

Sorry, i forgot a lib in my externals when committed. It has been fixed now.

I get heaps of these for all the buttons and sub buttons it seems (110 in total), that's just the last one.
It's possibly to function :
when i click on button for look list sub button and i select a button for action it's possibly that this button select post in the button principal group.
And other function
In the text in center sphere it's possibly to place
- the timer use Anhk for shaman
- the timer and charge use Earth shield tracker target on which have to place we it for shaman
- the timer use hone resurection for warlok
- the timer use evocation for mage
- the timer use inervate for druid
- the timer use other for all class

This attitude always confuses me... How do people expect bugs to get fixed if they don't say what the bugs are? Is this the whole "someone else will do it for me" mentality that today's generation has been picking up?

Ailish: I agree, the extras are in tiny mods like "automaton" etc, so I do not plan to do most of those. Will look into that bug, shorty.
