I like the idea of having some sort of visual indication for when buffs are fading, but I also think that the way the icons currently blink red is unattractive. I was wondering if you could add an option for having a blinking red border around the icons instead, or having the time remaining blink red. Having the option to choose between one of these options, or both, would be ideal.

Thanks for the feedback and bug reports. Revision 14431 is up:
*fixed weapon buff timers and charges not showing
*fixed button flashing for fading buffs
*replaced red overlay flashing with blizzard style flashing for now. You're right, it's ugly.
Don't be surprised when the buff icons turn completely invisible (just for a blink of an eye) now, though. Blizzard's way of flashing the buff buttons is... disturbing (many onupdates that aren't really necessary), so I used their UIFlashFrame function, but it doesn't support a "lower bound" for the alpha. In the next major revision, I will probably have a border flashing for you. On the other hand, it's a little more of an "huh, what's this?" effect when a buff inmidst the row seems to be completely missing, so you look at it while there's still time.
I cancelled mana shield while mounted and the mana shield buff was flashing, then when it turned off the buff the mount buff moved in to fill the flashing spot and started flashing itself, then vanished when it stopped flashing.
Are you using Revision 14431 or later? This *should* have been fixed in this revision (which doesn't mean there's still a glitch)
Yes, I'm not happy with the flashing as it is now either (but can't really do something about it with the current code). I'm going to add a toggle tomorrow.
The current structure of Buffalo has become a beast to maintain and expand. Please bear with me while I am working on a rewrite, so I can implement some more features you proposed without losing my hair. Since the semester has begun this week, I have only little time to work on Buffalo, so don't expect something new anytime soon. Small requests (like toggle flashing option) and bugs however will be put into the trunk as soon as I find time to do it.
Defintely needs a timer on the weapon buffs, and maybe a FuBar plugin for good measure. Excellent mod, I had it up and the way I liked it in about three minutes.
Timer on weapon buffs? Good lord, don't tell me I have broken that again. Or tell me you are using an old version. :-)
Try "/buffalo config". There's the lock option. Alt+Rightclicking on a buff category only configures this one category. And about the numbering - the numbers indicate how the buffs will build up. The first buff you receive will be on 1, the second on two and so forth. By playing arround with the "Growth Precedence", Directions and Rows/Columns settings, you can achieve any (rectangular) layout for your buffs you may need.
Nimbal, thanks a lot for the addon, its great.
i disabled flashing manually till tomorrow
and yes, for me weapon timers and charge counts are working perfectly
nice you added option to switch between classic timers and mm:ss since on weapon buffs classic looks better
this addon is really close to perfection imo =)
