Ok small issue report here: Right click toggle pet skills.
It works but sometimes, it doesn't, i have to /reloadui and then it's working again, can be really annoying sometimes :)
Ist this normal? I can set a bar only to hide when a Pet exist. To hide the bar when no Pet exist and show it when a pet exist would be mor suggestive.
The second thing, are there any news about binding the mousewheel?
I've also experienced problems with clicking on the pet bar. When I click the skills they simply don't activate. Luckily I didn't get the ghost debuff on Gorefiend last week, because I've only just now realised the error. Can you look into it sheets? I'm using version 68119.
I doesn't work when I mind control at all, but on my pet some of the buttons are working and some aren't.

To hide the pet bar when your pet doesn't exist, just leave the pet exist checkbox blank, and set the fade amount to 0%.

Not at this time. I'll look into it over the weekend.

Just to make sure you understand, the pet actions and possess actions are not the same thing. When possessing something, you want the possess actions. So during gorefiend or when mind controlling, you need the possess actions. If I understand the spell, your Shadowfiend should still use the pet actions, unless of course, you're mind controlling it.

I think I get it. And yes I'm quite sure Shadowfiend acts as a pet. I followed your "guide" to set up the bar, so I'm pretty sure it's correctly set up, it just isn't working as intended. It would be easier if we had a preset pet/posses bar.
I have a posses/pet combined bar, perhaps that's what's creating the problem? Don't really know tbh, but is it something you can look into? As it is right now I have to reload Bartender for Gorefiend, so that I can be sure my bar is working correctly - or else I'm going to be the laughing stock of the raid :/

I suspect such a combined bar would need to use macro states. I'll be finishing up my Preset system tonight after work (about five hours from now), and a basic and combined pet bar will be in the list of presets. If you want to test before this, try creating a combined pet/possess bar with the following macro states:
There should not be any blank lines in the macro state definition box. (Need to add a check to skip over blank lines...) The first state will be active when not possessing and without a pet. The second, is for your possess actions, and the third, obviously is for your pet actions.
Those of you having problems with keybinds activating buttons:
Do you have spaces in the names of your button groups?
If so, remove them and test. Does it work, or still fail?
I think I know what everybody's answer is going to be, but I want to be sure.
Update on Presets:
I got sidetracked working with presets because I encountered the above error. I will implement a solution to this issue with the next commit. Last thing I need to do is set up some more basic presets, then implement the Import feature (Export is already done).
Revision 68201:
Added Presets system. Current Presets: Pet bar, Pet/possess bar, bag bar, and 2 Nostromo n52 layouts.
Added Import/Export system. To export a button group, click on Show export in the groups main config panel. Then Copy ALL of the text in the resulting text field. Click in the text and hit Ctrl-A for an easy way to do this. Switch to your text editor, or something like ace.pastey.net, and paste it in. Note, do NOT post exported button groups in this thread. Either PM them to me directly, or use ace.pastey.net to store the file.
To Import, simply paste the text from the first { to the last } into the Import text box under the Button Groups panel. You may have to resize the GUI window in order to scroll down to see the save button. Click the save button, and the new button group will be added. Unless, of course there is an error in the formatting.
Also, I limited the names of Button Groups, at this time, to only using a-z, A-Z, 1-0, and _ characters. It will automatically correct inappropriate characters, changing them to _'s. I will in the future reprogram this to allow any characters desired again, but this fixes a bug causing keybinds to not work.
Suggestions/Submissions for new Presets should be PM'd to me, or a link to an ace.pastey should be posted.
I'm going to go back over my list of bugs, issues, feature requests, etc. If any are easy to fix/add, I will do so. After that I will be focusing most of my time on my new button skinning system. Bugfixes will take priority, but new feature requests (i.e. those not already in the thread as of this post), will be put on the back-burner.
While I think a few simple presets like a pet bar are a good idea to include, I hope that random user-submitted presets never find their way into the base InfiniBar-2.0 distribution. If you want to distribute selected presets via an addon, I'd suggest creating a separate InfiniBar-2.0_Presets addon, the way AloftPresets provides preset options to Aloft users.

A good idea. And I'll also separate out my Nostromo presets when this is done.
Okay. Extra presets will always go into the addon InfiniBar_Presets. Should be on files.wowace.com in twenty minutes. I'll add links to it once it shows up. Note, you'll also want the latest version of IB2 so the Presets can be added to the list.
Went to BT today and got a nasty surprise, Every 30 sec or so my screen would lag for 1-2 sec and then go back to normal for approx another 30 sec until lagging a bit again. My framerate was also a bit lower than usual and my game just felt really crappy. I then disabled IB-2.0 and enabled BT3 = Problem solved. With the shift I didn't have any of those small lags for the entire raid and my fps went up at least 4-5 on average.
I'm using IB revision 68210 and presets 68212. I noticed a rather high increasing rate when I used IB, around 10-15 kb/s when idling I think. With BT3 it was at 0-3 kb/s. I also noticed that LibDogtag-3.0 used a hell of alot of increased memory, as well as Pitbull, so it could be Pitbull draining the library, but It might be IB as well? I don't have a clue to be honest, but something is definitely wrong.
This problem only occurs on raids though.
I also tried out your presets settings. I used the Pet_Posses_Bar settings and applied them to a bar like I should, but they still aren't fully clickable. Possess buttons aren't clickable at all, and attack and aggrssive on the pet bar isn't clickable either I'm afraid.
Lastly the icons on bars aren't updating 100% either. I started Mind Controling an Ogre and when I released him and sent in my shadowfiend, the Bloodlust icon remained on the pets action bar. This also happened 5 minutes later when I just summoned the shadowfiend, so it isn't combat related.

Okay, test this for me next time you raid. First backup your InfiniBar-2.0.lua in your SavedVariables directory. Then clear out all text subs and highlight text. Set them all to nothing. Then post here with results.
Also, had you raided before with InfiniBar2? And did you have lag spikes then too, or was it all good? If this is due to a recent change I'd like to figure out what caused it so I can fix it.
Two things to note, in addition to a bit of praise. I've not been on here since the first few pages of the thread, but the mod is coming along wonderfully. I've been quite happy with the new features. I do have to test things with my hunter though.
I have noticed some lag in raids, though I've not been able to pin down the source as of yet. The lag I've seen was in place when I was using CT's bars as well, however, so I'm reasonably sure it's something external. Was pre-2.4 that the issue started with me.
I have a highlighting related question:
How do I set up buttons to be lit when I have the ability on me? For a while the mod did this, then I updated and it stopped.
I.E. - Battle Shout having a bright yellow border when I'm actively affected by Battle Shout
EDIT: I have noticed that, using CyCircled, my stance and an equipped weapon do show up with a highlight automatically. I cannot find any tag which is triggering this.

Same issue since around day one i started using IB-2.0, but tbh, i was pulling my hairs to find where it was coming from, was at 10 miles away from thinking it could come from bars.

I got the same issue. I loved how IB2 highlighted my active abilities/spells/etc. but I can't get this working with the new DogTag support. It would seem
Whenever I change my Fubar profile IB2 changes aswell, I can set IB2 back again without it affecting Fubar profile. Might be Fubar causing this but know you're informed at least.
