@mrfantomex: I think what you need is Spellbinder. It takes care of binding macros to keys.
Yes, keybindings have nothing to do with Click2Cast - C2C is a click-casting addon - you bind a spell/whatever to a mouse-click and then can cast/use it by just clicking on the unit frame.
@Kimat: Get a bar addon and hide the bar you use for C2C macros ;)
If you use Bartender, enable a bar you currently are not using, put the macros on it, and then hide it (it will be red instead of green when unlocked). You can even scale it down and shove it out of the way and THEN hide it if you really wanted to.
@yutt: what button did you /click? and does the macro work if you just click it (not using C2C)?
I admit, I haven't logged on since last night, and still haven't tested, but are you positive you're doing it the way the Arjuna described in the above post? Also, how are you entering in the spell name for Faerie Fire (Feral)?

My bad, using the "/click" method does work. I am entering the name for "Faerie Fire (Feral)" just like that. Copy and pasted the spell name from the shift-clicked macro text.
Is there a way to set up click2cast so that when the frame is hostile you have one set of actions and when the frame is friendly you have another set of actions using the same click casting combo?
I noticed a slight bug with C2C recently. When I view the keybindings in the fubar menu, they show up incorrectly. For example, the menu that appears when you hover or the icon shows "Alt + Left Mouse = Berserking", when the actual keybinding is "Ctrl + Alt + Left Mouse". Anybody know why this happens and/or how to fix it?
I play a warrior, so click casting isnt all that valuable. However, using shift-clicks as extra hotkeys would be VERY valuable. I was thinking of having shift-right click as my pvp trinket, as i think that would be a huge boost to my reaction time. Unfortunately, while casting spells can be done "outside unitframes" (making it great for berserker rage), it seems that there is no option for "outside unitframes" for macros. Is there something i'm missing? Or if it's not a feature, could you add it as a feature to the next build?
if you want to shift click to perform a macro action (not on a unitframe)...can't you just make the macro, slap it on a hotbar and then go into keybindings and bind it to a shift click there? doesn't seem like an addon is necessary for that, unless I'm completely missing something (which I might be seeing as how this is my first cup of coffee)
I've done the same thing for a lot of my mousebuttons and I have them bound to hotbar buttons that are hidden so I don't have to see them (using Bongos, but anything would work I imagine?).
Huh! I guess the only keys I've never tried binding right click to anything. But I've got button 3 (press), 4, and 5 bound as well as shift scroll wheel up and shift scroll wheel down.
I mean the two main buttons, the ones found on every (PC) mouse. It would be useful to make them hotkeys for cc breakers if and only if shift is held. Click2cast can do what I want in regards to berserker rage simply by selecting it to cast with shift-left click and then checking "outside unitframes" as an option. But this option doesnt exist for macros, so i cant do the same thing for my pvp trinket
Again all well and good for click casting, but this is in regards to targets. What I'm looking for, is the abilty to use my pvp trinket simply by shift-rightclicking anywhere on my screen. Again click2cast can do it for berserker rage, but cant do it for macros (which is how i would have to use my pvp trinket).

Also, grammatical error, should read:
Ie.
Giant Gnome-Eating Spider
Mouse Btn 4 -> Moonfire
Mage Glass Cannon (who supplies you with water)
Mouse Btn 4 -> Regrowth
Thanks!

Maybe I am misremembering?

It's a guide to binding shift+right-click to /petattack mouseover, but should also teach you how to bind macros and stuff to mouse-clicks.
Check your mouse software - perhaps you can change it's action to "generic" or something.
