Using the syntax you provided, I tried:

/stopcasting;/cast [target=mouseover] Flash of Light

It is not working for me.

also does not work for me.

ye i cant get any macro code working too :(

can anyone tell how to make macro code working? anything more complicated than simple "/cast spellname" is not working

I've never been able to get a multi-line macro to work with C2C.

I finally gave up and just use Clique now.

Sadly, I think I may follow your lead. Love C2C but with multi-line macro-codes not working, I'll go back to Clique, which is a wonderful addon in its own right.

Yeah, no word on this, so I'll try Clique again and see if it's as screwed up as it was last time I tried it. :)

Have you tried to write the macro's name instead of the code? just a suggestion didn't try it yet

Have you tried just:

macroname

?

Guide to Multi-line macros

/macro

Write your multi-line macro

Drag the macro to a bar

Write /click "button name" in Click2Cast in the macro field.

Note:
If you don't know what the button name is you can find out using this macro:
/run ChatFrame1:AddMessage(GetMouseFocus():GetName())
Simply run this when you mouseover your button and it'll output the button name in chat.

I can not get even the most basic /say macro to work with key bindings. I've tried every possible combination in this thread. Using latest.

With mouse clicks, I can simply enter the name of the macro and it works.

So is this ever going to be fixed?

Kind of irritating since Clique and this both seem to be dead addons. Revolutionary changes to the WoW interface and no one wants to maintain them. :\

I've been unable to use Faerie Fire (Feral) for a long time now. I'm certain I reported it at some point in this thread. Also, macros don't seem to work. At least a Faerie Fire macro I set up attempting to work around the ability itself not being usable.

Ideally, I'd have conditional macros setup for different abilities/items based on the form I was in.

I can provide more information/tests if needed, I just need to know what would help the maintainer resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, having to put macros on the bar in order to use them in Click2Cast rather defeats the point of the addon, if you ask me. My goal has always been to reduce the number of on-screen buttons (especially on my healer toons) to an absolute minimum.

Keybindgs. Alt-mouseclick works fine. I can't get ANY key bindings to work with macros.

I can bind a key to a spell and it will work. But it will not work with macros.

Putting macros on the action bar doesn't seem to work either. My faerie fire macro is on my action bar, but the binding still does not work.

@mrfantomex: I think what you need is Spellbinder. It takes care of binding macros to keys.

@Kimat: Get a bar addon and hide the bar you use for C2C macros ;)

@yutt: what button did you /click? and does the macro work if you just click it (not using C2C)?
