Thank you thank you thank you, cnc. I loved Flexbar back in the day, and even with the 'fun' stuff disabled by Blizzard, I still enjoy this new version.
Right now, I'm running it on top of Bartender3. All Bartender bars are hidden except petbar and the menubar. I haven't noticed any problems with overlap so far, so pet class people might give that a try and see if it works for them as well.
The latest version of flexbar doesn't seem to be working for me. The addon wont load up properly even if I delete my WTF folder and only have flexbar enabled.
I'm getting the same thing. This is the error that first comes up. Actually, the older version was working for the most part, but a little flaky, so I decided to get the new one, then this happened. :(

I've built my new UI using bartender now instead which, until flexbar gets a GUI, is probably alot easier to setup and does everything I need of it except for being able to hide bars in combat.

Good idea. Unfortunately it's not an option for me though, since BT3 gives me some weird interface-lockups whenever I press shift/alt/cntrl :(
Guess it has something to do with bar paging.
Whatever... I'd really like to use FB2 as my only actionbars addon. So please cnc :D Maybe you could - as a quick and temporary solution - adjust your code that hides the blizzard main menu bar so that it hides everything except the petbar/menubar/bags. Maybe add some options to hide those and eventually scale/rearrange individually and you're set.
I figure that wouldn't be too much hassle codewise and it would get the job done.
Very nice work!
I am using this addon with my shaman, the only thing missing is the petbar. Not only for hunters or warlocks, but also for quests or bosses where everyone needs it.
I dunno, but I think cnc is already working on it - hope it would be finished soon.
What's the matter with this stuff I've found searching the Internet: http://pastey.net/75135 ? Can we use it, huh?

Blizzard changed this. You no longer get a pet bar, but the actions that would have been on the pet bar are now on your bar 1. (Not sure how that works with fb2.) But mages have pets as well. ;)
Ok, now I'm getting an Error if I wanted to create buttons in addition the buttons didn't show up.

Aaah FlexBar, the memories... Very glad to see this back in action. I am, however; having some issues.
1) Combat actions that happen 'on next attack' aren't indicated at all. Since you already have the button highlight code there, I'd assume it would be easy to add this. Right now it's just confusing and makes me wonder whether I actually hit the button or not.
2) Is remapping functional? I set a group of buttons to remap on shapeshift for my Warrior and it didn't seem to work. Or do I need to fiddle with attributes and such?

I'll work on 1) soon, about 2) this should work fine: /fb setremap shapeshift=true group=MyRemapGroup
Could u also explain to me how to recolor button's texts properly?
If a use /fb blah blah blah Green=<green %> the text gets red, if I than use Red=<red %> it turns black.

Forgive my crappy english, hope it makes sense :)
Ty in advance and ty for your coding time.
all are planned, about text colors, it should work perfectly, but remember that colors are saved so
/fb bladh green=0.5 /fb blah red=0.5 is the same as /fb blah green=0.5 red=0.5
Following up on the remapping issue: it works *after* reloading the UI. This should probably be added to the documentation, since it seems to be the only FlexBar feature that doesn't become visible right away.

weird, its suposed to work right away, I'll look into that, as well as into many other things when I have some time (exams soon, so not right away)

/facepalm *tears* Gah, just as I had most set up, I hadn't checked stuff on my hunter.
Here's another feature request: InfiniBar, a FlexBar wannabe whose development has stopped, has a neat feature where you can hide buttons, but they show up again when you 'pick up' an action and start dragging it around.
