I was just wondering if someone that has tried to enter commands and have gotten a fair result out of this, could answer my questions...
First: How are you using/entering the commands. When I enter WoW, I have no idea how to start entering commands and making my own buttons...
Second: I am currently reading about Ace2.0 on WowWiki - do you know of any better sites to give me some pointers on how to utilize fb2?
All answers are welcome...
And cnc - thanks for all the time you are spending getting flexbar up and running again! It's without doubt the best addon EVER!!
I'm not even attempting to try it without some sort of a UI... I'm afraid I'll break something and my bars will turn out looking like some horrible nightmare. :P
How do i put it into thought, i tried using omnibus, but i don't think that addon has long enough spaces to do it all since it would cut off halfway through.

Trust me, the code will fit (Omnibus can be resized), and if you don't believe me then I give you these two pieces of information:
1) That code was copied out of an Omnibus Page, tagged as Lua code.
2) I wrote Omnibus.

how can you resize it. I tried splitting it with two pages but it only made things worse.
I can get to line 113 and it looks like this:
button:SetPosition(baseX*2-72, baseY - 5
and cuts off there.
Edit: I figured it out, I guess you have to set it to lua format first. keeping it in text format would cut it off but changing it first worked.
Just saving this thread from being lost in oblivion. Flexbar has'nt been updated in some time it seems. Is it likely that we will see a slash command usable version within the month, or should I just say screw it and try one of the others? I have been purposely torturing myself with CT barmod for months now so that when Flexbar is released I will be that much more excited to use it. :)

my computer crashed today, so I lost my latest code, this should set me back for a while, though not very long, I'll try to have something workable for the second weekend of april
How about slash commands to even operate the addon
IMHO, not required at all.
Install Omnibus and configure FB2 via lua scripts - much more flexible than old FB1 slash commands.
So, you want it to only be usable by people with a knowledge of lua? I'm pretty sure there's more people that used the old Flexbar who didn't understand lua than who did.
No kidding...we need slash commands so this mod can get back on the map. Assuming that this mod does not need slash commands at all simply because a few people know how to script with lua is pretty retarded.

I need slash commands =)

I don't need a gui or anything, slash commands would be beautiful.
I recently starting playing WoW again, and it really isn't the same game without Flexbar!
Skin support!?!? How about slash commands to even operate the addon to begin with. :)
