I have tried a million ways from Sunday to get it to work but it just refuses. I have an older version, but the buttons don't like up correctly with Skinner.
Does anyone have the newest version working at all?
The code seems to be the same for the two versions, so I can't understand why it won't work. Any one else have this issue?
I've only ever used the Ace'd version, to be honest I didn't know it existed before it was Ace'd... Is it possible you have a pre-Ace'd FramesResized WTF file lurking around that the Ace'd version doesn't like?
That's about all I can suggest, but yea, it does work.
Sadly, I tried that too, lol! there were NO instances of framesresized files in my WTF, I even removed the window positions from my layout files. Tonight I'll try using JUST the FramesResized Ace'd version with nothing else in my interface and a clean WTF file.
I have to get down to the bottom of this one! ;)
Edit: As a side note I am using Mobile Frames mod. I am wondering if that breaks anything. I will know more tonight.
Works fine for me also... newest version, old versions... never had any problem with it :)
And: You can't find any saved configs in your wtf-folder, simply cause FramesResized saves absolutly nothing... there is no configuration, there are no options and because of that, there are also no saved configuration files :)
It's definitely MobileFrames mods. I use the one that's in the Cosmos Alpha UI zip. Sadly, I have tried other frame moving mods, but they are all lame. :P I like being able to drag the title bar for any window I want to move on the fly. Move Anything has to have predefined locations, bleh.
Any of you have a better mod for moving frames like mobile frames? Seems odd to me that MobileFrames works with an old version pre Ace'd Framesresize.
Yea FramesResized does move all the windows that are resized. :)
I'll check out BhaldieMoveIT and see how it fares against MobileFrames. If it's cleaner and lets me use the right Framesresized, we'll have a convert on our hands!
Hopefully it will do exactly what I want so I can get rid of Sea. :P
So, I've tried a bunch of the other moving frames addons and didn't like them all that much.
The beauty of mobile frames is that is makes a draggable bar as part of the title bar, so you can move frames on the fly, just like normal desktop windows.
If any modders out here happen to read there ^^ Great Ace2 mod idea ;)
So after reading the above posts I'm not sure if anyone (Elkano?) is continuing to update this or not. Someone must be, because I nabbed a version with an updated .toc file.. but whatever.
Anyway, this new version is conflicting with the guild frame. With FramesResized loaded it refuses to show offline members when I check the box. Disables FramesResized and it works fine.
I still do maintance it but I'm currently cut of from WoW due to my PC being broken. On the other hand I don't know why it should break the guild frame :/
Yeah. I haven't a clue, either. Even with the new options to the tradeskills frames this addon still works like a charm, but then there's the guild frame issue. Not that I have even the remotest clue as to what I'm doing, but I peered at the code to see if there was any sort of 'guild' in there anywhere. And there wasn't, of course. (Which I imagine you are well aware of, lol).
any way to disable it from trying to resize the quest log window when using Bayi's Ace'd EQL? Or better yet how can I disable it from resizing the quest log window but still resize the professions windows?

Open up FramesResized.lua and check the first lines. "local FR_QuestLog = nil" should do it. Only problem with this is that the setting will be removed every time the mod is updated.
F.e. I'm using XLoot, I set the FR_Lootframe = nil, just to be sure not getting any conflicts.
Still no option to lock the windows though (I commented about that above some time ago). I dont like mine to be movable, although I understand why some want them that.

The Ace'd version of FramesResized does not work for me. http://files.wowace.com/FramesResized

With the Skinner problem, you need to copy the FramesResized skin files from the AddonSkins folder to SkinMe folder within the Skinner addon folder.
I don't get UI errors, it looks like it loads fine, but none of my windows are "Resized".
If I use the old version it seems to work, just misaligned buttons, but the new version does not stretch my windows.

btw. FramesResized let you move any window which it also resize :)

complex thing, but it can do everything you need - just have to spend 2-3 hours studying it, then its all yours forever

FramesResized and MobileFrames?
It looks like the author of FramesResized is no longer updating the mod? Can someone help me figure out the conflict?

Yeah.. either way, it doesn't make much sense.
edit: Do you happen to be using DuckieBank? If so, update it to the latest rev.2.4a
As per Saynt's edit, updating Duckie Bank seems to fix the roster issue. Sorry for the scare, Elkano!
