Yes that looks like the error I've seen that is usually followed by a crash. There's nothing to indicate what the root cause of that is though.
so disable all mods except ai and do whatever you were doing with your inventory again - if it errors then it's most liekly an ai issue, otherwise its most likely something else - or a combination of something elses.
i still cant get any errors or massive memory usage when i do that so i'm not expecting it to be an ai issue. (i do get small lag spikes on the gc's though when they kick in)
i'll be adding extra options in to allow you to disable monitoring for changes at each location. not sure if it's going to help this issue though.
Well one thing for sure, it has nothing to do with the mailbox, happened to me on both of my comp yesterday and twice in Sunwell Plateau, while raiding.
Another thing, i had a question, is it possible to assign all the new items to a category, so all the new items are put together ?
I know there's a way to mark items as new... not sure if those marked items can then be put somewhere other than the catchall, unless you filter all BoE, BoP and the like into a separate catagory and leave the catchall to white items.
I suspect AI isn't directly causing the problem, it just pushed the memory to the brink while doing one of its operations. its likely there's a library somewhere with a memory leak.
More specific to AI: I've noticed AI really doesn't like it when you look for something and the inventory (bank, etc) has had the offline caching disabled. I'll get the specific error message the next time it happens.

Yeah, that's the impression I'm getting from from reading various posts around the forum (and on the WoW forum). Nevertheless, I'm giving Baggins another try for the time being.

I'm pretty sure I reported this months ago. Basically it seems that even though AI lets you disable caching, it starts throwing errors around if you actually do so. An easy way to replicate the issue is to:
1. disable all offline caching for the current toon
2. erase all saved data for the curren toon
3. exit the game completely and load back in (reloading your UI may be sufficient, I'm not sure)
You should start seeing AI throw errors pretty quick.
I used to use Possessions+WhoHas for item tracking across toons, but settled for letting AI do it because of the above behavior. It will be nice using Possessions+WhoHas again now that I'm giving Baggins another try - I really like how they display item counts on a wider variety of tooltips, and how they assume that items you mail to your alts are in their inboxes as soon as you send them.

dont worry, i've found and fixed it. it was clearing the data but leaving the structure in-tact so when it loaded up next time it essentially had empty data and barfed.

I've got a little annoyance I can't seem to make go away.
I've got several rules setup to split soulbound equipment into sub-groupings.
One item simply won't go to the rule I want it to. It has gotten associated to 2 groups somehow and it just will not erase those rule assignments no matter what I do (even deleting the rules does not make this item go back where it should when I set it all back up)

Any thoughts?
Have you deleted the item's ID from the rule you don't want it to be in? If yes, make sure the item id wasn't added twice to the rule. If you don't know how to edit the rules follow the directions below:
First, find the item ID; when in edit mode, right-click the item, goto debug info and write down the Blizz ID. Then goto Rules, the rule you want the item removed from, click edit then find the Bliz ID in the Formula and delete 'or ID(xxxxx)'. Viola! Once you click OK the item should automatically sort to the other rule it's been added to or move to it's default (unless you don't use auto-sort, in which case click on 'Reload' to have it sort).
is it possible to see the gold (total / x 500 y 800 etc..) from every char?
Not all at once or grand total of all alts, at least to my knowledge... Though when you switch characters inventory, it shows you how much gold they have on them.
it wasn't removed. There are two arrows to the right of the menu icon (top left of the AI window). Clicking (or right clicking, I'm not sure) brings up a menu, one item of which is "keyring".

kk, sorry.Should have looked further after the changes :(
Since it occurs when I look at my mailbox, I simply assumed it was the mailbox feature of AI causing it.

If AI would leave the mailbox alone, or have the option to, that might help testing to see if that's the issue...

How about the crashing issue, any clue ?
do you mean the memory error thing? no idea, ive never seen it happen on any of my toons, makes it hard to look for.

One teeny thing:
You recently made the search frame filter instantly update the matched list - tres cool!
When I press my shift-I keybinding to open the Search frame, however, it puts an "I" in the filter and I have to backspace it out. Not a major issue.
I'm sure if you set the search frame keybind to Shift-B, a B would pop up.
If it's difficult to fix, no worries. The usefulness of the frame far outweighs the extra backspace I have to type.
