Have been toying with this mod a bit, but couldn't find the following options. Did I overlook them?
- Newest event on top (instead of showing up at the bottom)
- A maximum to the length of a name. For example if I heal "abacadabra" it only shows up abaca
- get rid of the - for damage and + for healing. Could be expressed with colors.
Is there any way to make the header not react on mouseover? I tend to make it completely transparent and lock it fairly near where I mouse about, and it poping up gets in the way sometimes:)
Yeah, would be great. Allways hated the chatbox headers untill I got Prat. ;)
I experienced a bug with the "Fade Frame" option. When I enable it, the frames behavior seems randomly. Sometimes it shows up on events, sometimes on mouseover, most of the time it stays invisible. Disabling the option doesn't take effect.
Only deleting the saved variables fixes this issue.
I'm using version r29459 on a german client and many other Ace2 Addons.
I'm to lazy to check for conflicts with other addons, I'll just avoid the "Fade Frame" Option. :)
Not sure what to tell you guys. I always have frame fade on and never have a problem with it.
when you enable it, frame start to behave in a strange way - sometimes randomly "fading out" and then you cant bring it back, only by reenabling the option in menu. if you leave the option alone, it will fade out normal and all works well, but if you try to play with it it can go buggy
Do EavesDrop works with no externals? All my other 110+ addons works fine, this is the only one which is not working. I've noted this behaviour after i update all addons and libs to r29500 and above.
EavesDrop stays completly white, with no messages being printed neither nothing. I can't use its menu, scrooling, top scores, etc. No ingame error message at all.
more:
there are 2 lines i'd like to remove: is this possible?
i'll explain:
1. first line, where target/player + arrows are supposed to be. when hidden , an empty unusable line is still occuping space :)
2. at the bottom of the frame.. another empty unusable line is standing.
imarkon, I'm not sure on dark pact. Do you get a combat log event for it? As for the blank lines, there is currently no way to remove them and its not high on my priority list. Could can always hide the frame itself and then won't notice them =)

hi Grayhoof, if EavesDrop is using ParserLib, I believe dark pack belongs to "leech", while life tap belongs to "gain".
* Your Drain Mana drains 140 Mana from Mage. You gain 140 Mana.
o source : ParserLib_SELF
o victim : "Mage"
o skill : "Drain Mana"
o amount : 140
o attribute : "Mana"
o sourceGained: ParserLib_SELF
o amountGained: 140
o attributeGained: "Mana"
confirmed, dark pact is reported by combat log standard and scl ;)
more: a weird request, many debuffs haven't an icon (or at least they have the "?" icon). is it in program to add the standard icons to debuffs ? (i.e. poisons have often the same green icon etc etc)
Just committed a lot of new changes for version 1.4. Consider this beta until WoW 2.1 is live.
- Added Waterfall as optional way to view options. Use Shift+Right Click on tab.
- Changed to use SpecialEventsLib for buffs/debuffs
- Added new optional Combat Summary when combat stops
- Added new way to scroll text by combat flags. Use ctrl+click or ctrl+mouse wheel
- Added buff and debuff names that can be shortened using abbreviation or truncation
- Cleaned up Drain/Leech events
- Misc. other minor tweaks
This file is EavesDrop 1.3 r25345
Korean Localization. :)
Update Plz.

Furthermore i think it's a great mod!
You can change the alpha of the borders and background already.

is it my problem or isn't dark pact been implemented yet?
