Some suggestions/requests:
*Toggle viewing of Player/Target text in the top of the frame... its kinda useless and takes space if you know which side its on.
*Change transparency and color of the frame
*Autohide when no new text in x time

Did you even look through the options? >.>
Right-click on the tab at the top, you can change transparency/color, and you can do it to the text so that you can't see them. No autohide though.

Haha im so sorry. I did go through the menus ofcourse but not good enough. :-) I would not spend time posting without testing first...
Found a bug in eavedrop: Hellfire is a damage spell that hurts both you and your opponent. Eavesdrop interprets this as hellfire hitting only opponents.
Your hellfire hurts you for 100 damage
Your hellfire hurts spider for 100 damage
I think the first line should go in the damage-on-you category. Probably similar for things like goblin sapper charge, but I didn't test that.
I'd like to suggest an option to list the spell name next to the icon. When I use Eavesdrop I expand the width to 400 and shorten the height to replace my combat log chatframe so there's plenty of room for more text. Plus it's easier to read since different spells can have the same icon.
Would it be possible to disable fade completely or keep the scroll buttons active even after the text has faded? Like HitsMode, I like to use EavesDrop to see what sort of hits killed me after I die, but after a minute the text fades and I can't get it to come back up.
Shavnir, bOR, that's actually correct. When you cast hellfire it actually says something like "your hellfire hits you for xxx". Its really a judgement call which side it should appear on. I'll see if there's an easy to make it appear as damage, but not going to code a bunch of exceptions around these =)
Excise, Tanque, I really don't think I'm going to add that. The whole point is to make this a small replacement to the spam that is the combat log. Putting the skill name on every row would just be too much to me. Remebmer, you can always turn on details and mouse over a skill to see the actual combat message. The details will also have time stamps next release.
Khama, this usese BabbleSpell to determine the spell icon. I'm not sure if is been localizaed well for Chinese. It will work better as BabbleSpell is updated.
vagabond, I doubt I'll be giving options for removing healing and incoming damage. That's kind of the whole point of the mod =)
Kebinusan, it already does this by default. The messages begin to fade out after x amount of time. If you are just wanting to hide the frame, use the fame color options to do that.
Sinvin, you can change the fade out time in options. If you set it to 60 seconds, that means it won't begin to fade any events until there have been no events for at least 60 seconds. As already stated, you can also use the mouse wheel while over the frame to make all old events reappear.
Grayhoof anychance next time you change the toc you could put parserlib as a optional dependancy? It's easy for me to add it just gets old changing it whenever I update.(I alawys forget and log in first then have to log back out hehe) Thanks in advance!
Option to disbale the tab menu and just use slash commands or have the tab disappear when frame is locked, cause where I have it placed the tab makes it impossible to click on my buttons
Xhile, I'll try and remember to do that, but last I looked ParserLib did not have a stand alone version.
Iceroth, #1 and #2 are already added to my working copy =) #3 I won't be doing, just ask the oskin people to add it to theirs.
Leaya, I really don't think I'm going to be adding that. Someone will turn if off by accident and then I'll be flooded with complaints about it. You could turn it off for yourself if you like in the XML or lua.
What a bummer! Ok, so could you mention in which line i have to make a change for that? It's very important for me to hide that optionsrider (DeuceCommander or command-options would be really enough for that) thx

Well commit already :P.
And #3 is no biggie, I managed to create similar effect with putting ED frame/background to 0 alpha and positioning it on top of my oSkin "bottom thing".
I'm having a problem with the EavesDrop frame keeping its position. There is no error thrown, it simply goes back to its default position. I'm using Oskin to adjust my viewport and the bottomframe graphics, other than this I don't know what else could be making it pop back?

It doesn't for me, at least not while dead.

1) Longer scroll back buffer
2) Option to disable small periodic buffs (+40 mana from BoW etc.)
3) oSkin style skin for the frame
