It's basically a simple combat log that displays combat in manner similar to how SCT/SCTD would in a log. It sperates incoming events (left side) from out going events (right side) from misc. events (middle). Additonally it displays the spell icons for each spell/skill events.
Drag the frame for placement. Right click the frame to get the options menu (colors, text size, etc...). Use the scroll buttons or mouse wheel to scroll through events. Hold shift while doing either to go to the top or bottom.
i installed this earlier and got an error about parserlib not being defined or some such nonsense. the combat log window shows up and i can move it around, and the only thing on it is a scroll up button. when i click the button i get an error about "scrollUp" and when i right click i get an error about "dropMenu" or something. doesn't seem to work at all : /
Awesome and well done Grayhoof. I could use some sizing options, or maybe the ability to replace the font it's using, the font I'm using as a general override makes the frame feel much too large. The usual background, border, coloring, sizing options would be awesome :).
Did you swap the healing text? i didnt get a chance to fully test, but bloodthirst appears to be showing +'s in the incoming frame (instead of the outgoing frame, as it had before). which makes sense, but feels like its in bad company with all that enemy damage surrounding it. Perhaps we could see some option in the future that lets us choose what frames the events go to.
in addition, i'd really like to see an option to set the number of events shown within the window and have the ability to set line/icon height.
Would be nice with an option stop it from interfearing with mouse clicks, little annoying not being able to target or loot something that is behind it.
Block menu from frame, either access it from command or throu fubar or something.
And donno if it's possible but would also be very nice with option to split incomming and outgoing in two different frames so they dont bump each other all the time. That would give a tad bit more time to see what happen in the frame before it gets bumped away from sight. Could even have 3 frames with 3rd for unspecified messeges like +/- combat ability gains and such.
Great addon love it so far and haven't recived any bugs from it at all.
It needs a way to be click through. Maybe a fubar lock command, or command line lock, that turns off the right click menu, so when I right click or left click it clicks through, and doesnt bring up a menu.
