Im going to take out the Durations section of HostelBar. I originally wrote HostelBar for the purposes of tracking enemy casting timers, buffs, and cooldowns. Gonna stick to and improve that bit.
I figure our addons should work nicely next to each other.
Excellent plan. :) I'm a firm believer in the old Unix philosophy that your tools should do one thing and do it well. Hostel for enemy casts/buffs/cooldowns, Chronometer for your own spell durations, CDT for your own cooldowns, an Ace2'd EBB for your own buffs, etc. As long as they all have similar options available for the appearance of the bars, it's all good.

Indeed. Im also a believer in not reinventing the wheel. You already have an excellent wheel here :P.
Suggestions:
Take Hostel's textures (that I stole from CDT ^_^) and add the option to control the texture of bars.
Maybe also add functionality to control which type of spell has which texture. So your buffs will have one texture, your debuffs will have another. Be careful with this though as with Hostel it become an increasing pain to deal with seperating everything by type of bar.
Also, would it be possible to add Crippling Poison duration? its pretty handy as a rogue. The other poisons arent that vital to me but could possibly be added. I have no good way of detecting new applications of crippling poison however.
Seeing as Im taking out Durations from HostelBar, what do you think of diminishing returns and interrupt times?
Diminishing Returns I'd support, although I'd say dependant on the amount of additional code/hooks needed for it, leave it and stay "streamlined", I mean, after 60 levels any CCer should have the "feel" for DRs by default, anyways :)

Well it wasnt that difficult to implement with HostelBar. It was a bit hackish however.
All righty... I've added a TODO list both to the readme.txt included with the addon, and to the Chronometer wiki page. I'll try and keep it up to date as I pick up new things and tick off others.
Love the addon, used it to replace SHT. Some of the hunter timers are slightly off though:
Bestial Wrath should be 18 seconds - Currently set 15
Rapid Fire should be 15 seconds - Currently set to 10
Immolation Trap Effect should be 15 seconds - Currently set to 20
I was seeing some odd behavior on my warlock tonight in ZG with the Shadow Vulnerability timer, it would sometimes show up when mobs were debuffed with Shadow Vulnerability from a shadow priest but other times it wouldn't. If Chronometer is currently just checking debuff names from the combat log that could explain it, if its actually checking target debuffs then I would suggest also checking the icon for added accuracy.
EDIT: Ok just noticed that its not providing a bar when the warlock Shadow Vulnerability gets applied if the priest Shadow Vulnerability is already on the target, it also didnt refresh the Shadow Vulnerability bar when I got another crit while the debuff was up and reset it to 4. Also why does it clear all the bars when I die but the debuffs are still going?
hello, i am Hostel refugee ^^ want to make a couple of requests.
a) make an option of bar emptying/filling style.
b) make an option to show diminishing returns
c) another suggestion is to make 2 different anchors available - one for your buffs, second for debuffs put on enemy. i never used any buff timers addons, but now after playing with Chrono i think to give it a chance, yet i need an option to show buffs/debuffs in different places - i use Chrono with edited rogue.lua now only to show mezzes, to replace Stunwatch, so i am anchoring the bars exactly at the bottom of my character. so if too much bars will appear they will mess my screen pretty much. and its just uncomfortable for me to see my buffs and mezzes i put in same place.
d) poison duration timers. it really helps =)
and a bug report - Kidney shot doesnt show correct duration based on Combo points. in fact, it shows 6 seconds plus one for every combo point. i think
Request: Please add the lovely bantobar texture as a texturing option.
Possible Bug:
I have a macro that does the following:
/script CastSpellByName("Concussive Shot");
/script CastSpellByName("Wing Clip(Rank 1)");
If I am at >8 yards range, it will use Concussive Shot. If I am at melee range, it will Wing Clip. Chronometer always reads it as Wing Clip and produces a Wing Clip timer bar accordingly, even if I used Concussive Shot.
Can you look into this odd macro behaviour? Thanks.
12932 seems to be popping this error for me (im guessing its chronometer as its not firing any events and the error pops on events when it should hehe)

Thanks for adding the 8 piece Transcendence bonus. Looks like your recent changes have fixed all the priest timers.
I'm not sure if it's even possible to track these things, but I've noticed that with a Priest with r12897:
Once you have 5 Shadow Vulnerability debuffs stacked up from Shadow Weaving, the timer no longer resets on re-cast of a shadow spell.
Inspiration does not reset the timer if you get another crit while the timer is up.
The Greater Heal named bonus Renew from 8 piece Trans does not reset timer when re-cast while the timer is still up.
I went through as many Warrior abilities as I had access to and I didn't notice any problems with them.
Any thoughts to adding in timers for Racial abilities? Not the cooldowns, but the ability itself. Or would this be something covered by HostelBar instead?
edit: of course it's covered by HostelBar, i'm just a nub.
I have a problem with disappearing bars once I log out and back in. They seem to be gone out of the visible area (neither /chron anchor does show anything nor /chron test). It doesn't seem to save the correct positions (or doesn't position them correctly on log in).
Bug: FadeOnKill is not working for "Demoralizing Shout"
And could you please make it optional to remove Buffs from beeing shown? For example, Battle Shout and Berserker Rage. I also use ElkBuffBar an don´t want to see those twice.

should in fact look like
since its original time is 0, plus one for every CP
same goes to rupture.
havent tested it tho, servers just went down.

All right, well I know what's happening. Just going to take a bit of work to fix it.
