At this point, I'm willing to spend several hours/days trying to hack this in to HoTCandy and ship the change off to Nevcariel, or branch it, but I'm like... not familiar with buffs/debuffs in addons at all.
I have found the same conclussion, tried so many HoT trackers ...
HotCandy and Chronometer misses two things that would be great if it was included:
1) The Rejuvenation bar on person X doesn't disappear when i use Swiftmend on person X.
2) There is no way to know how many times Lifebloom has been stacked on person X.
Target/Focus trackers i can't really use, there are 22 other people in the raid that needs to be tracked.
This mod is great. It's so clear and powerful. I use it with Antagonist to replace NECB.
I wanna request some features listed below and it'll be really appreciated if the author could complete them
1. Spell Filter
For example, basically I disable "self" option which will show self buff/debuffs, because I use ElkBuffBars. But I wanna see the timer bar for the duration of my Water Elemental(I'm a mage XD) since it's not a permanent pet.
2. Target Control
Need an option to toggle the mod to show bars for target/focus only or show bars for all.
3. Target Control exceptions
Based on request No.2, people may need to see timers for some special spells even the affected mobs/players are not theirs current targets when using "show bars for target/focus only" option. Most of these spells are crowd control spells, such as poly, sap, etc.
3. Timers for spells/CDs of party/raid members
Some of you guys may find that the features requested above are supported by NECB. In fact, I think they are the most important features for people like me who wanna improve microcontrols in game.
I use a macro to shackle, shackle target gets focused.
Class Timer on focus tracks the shackle nicely for me.
HunterZ is looking for an addon to track friendly CC, not specifically his.
Correct. I want to know how much longer a mob is going to be banished or sheeped for when someone else in the raid CC'd. NECB tracks this, but there seems to be no smaller addon that does, and I'm not interested in the swiss-army knife that is NECB. NECB is good at what it does, but it does too much.
Anyone know if it's possible, or easy for a coding nub, to add summoned pets to chrono?
Such as on use trinkets/items, summoned treants for balance druids, etc.
Not sure if I got what you mean, but that sounds more like a cooldown tracker. Chronometer doesn't do cooldowns - you may wanna try CDT2 or Hourglass for that.
It isn't a cooldown I want to track, it's the life of the summoned pets.
For instance, when you summon a netherwing ally they last for X seconds. That would be a bar that shows up showing how much time until they vanish, or the bar vanishes if they're killed.
Not been through all the pages, but wondering why sometimes (quite often) bars don't disappear on death of my target, it's only been that way with mobs which is understandable, but my durations kinda get spammy after a while unless I clear them off manually :/
is alpha setting supposed to work ? I tried to change it and it does nothing for me.
Except for that this mod is really nice and i really love the bar fading to red color when near the end :)
"Healing Way" buff bad doesn't refresh after 3rd application even if it's reapplied. I'm not sure but maybe other applied buffs might have same effect ;o
I lost chonometer totally now, I dont get errors or anything. I cant get anchor to show at all. I wish I could be of more help. I assume someone updated a library that put it into a downhill spiral.
Yup, doesn't work for me either, trying via DeuceCommander to click on the anchor to show, but nothing happens. Tried to use ClassTimers, but that sisn't work either. Also, I'm having problems with TinyTip, it's doesn't works when looting, only set to Blizzard default, can't do shit.
Please help, I'm really annoyed and slightly handicapped without my precious addons!
I'm in need of a simple way to track my renews (an updated way to track prayer of mending would be nice too). I was using SpellReminder for the past few days; and while I liked it's messages upon expire, but I lost the bars and was unable to retreive them.
So, I downloaded Chronometer this morning. I'm liking it, but the one thing that I noticed while messing around: if you moved the anchor at all, once you logged out, it would default to a position in the top left, unreachable on a 1024x768 screen, when you logged back in. Leaving it in the center (in it's initial placement, over your head), it stays put. (I'm wondering if that's what happened to SpellReminder's bars.) When it's stuck in the top left, if I tell it to reset to default (profile and all), and relog...it's a good reset, they return overhead. But, move the anchor, and it's lost after logout.
Also, is there any way you can tell it to just watch only one or two particular spells?
On chronometer being out of sight..... this is what I did. It worked for my priest, but not my other toons.
Since the patch, my chronometer bar is placed somewhere out of the game screen. I went to chron settings and made it as large as possible, and finally found it stuck way up in the left hand corner of the screen. The problem is that it's so far up there that the anchor is out of sight and I am unable to move it. I was finally able to move it on one character by going to video options in the game and checked use ui scale, and scaled it as small as I could get. This brought chronometer into view and I was able to move it and put the ui scale back to normal. But it's not working on my other toons. I still can't get it in view. And it reverts back to the top left hand corner when I log out.

interface/addons/chronmeter/core/chronmeter.lua:278:attempt to index field 'bars' (a nil value)
if i log out of game delete saved variable I can redo the bars and they work till I log back out and back in then nothing works.
I am having same type issues with scorchio so I pretty sure something not meshing right with a library.
