First of all thank you for this fantastic addon.
I am also having the tooltip poping up whenever i rightclick between 2 players. Would be great if you could do it to pop up just on the Header.
1 more question, what does right click spell actualy do? I wana assigne Purge when right clicking an enemy frame is that possible? And will clique interupt it? Anyway, atm i cant get right click to work. [Edit: A relog was all needed to fix right click! it works soo nice! But i have a question, in the text spell name i added just "Purge" will that cast rank 1 or rank 2?}
I use arena master when it first came out, and it sucks. I switched to gladiator a month or two back and it sucks a bit less. I think this mod however will become the standard arena mod, blows the others out of the water so far.
I'd like to say thanks for not caving in to some of the stupid requests that people want in this addon, if they all had their say it would turn into a bloated mess of a thing. I do however really like the right click spell cast feature, it really helps for my class's job in arena.
The only request I would like to add has already been asked before; some sort of lock on the options window. Right now the only work around I've found is setting the padding to 1. I might even have to disable the party target and mana bar frames so theres slightly less chance I'll misclick and bring up an options window.
You could probably do a few thing:
- Add a 'lock' setting which would disable moving of the frame and bringing up the options window (better the right misclick do nothing silently then bring up a window covering everything else)
- Restrict the option menu to only appear on the hideable proximo title frame (both this option and the one above would require some /proximo show or /proximo unlock command to gain access to the options again which I guess isn't quite ideal).
- When in combat just disable showing of the options window, similar to how other mods don't show tooltips while in combat (while I don't think this is ideal either, since combat is usually started with some of the spells people would bind to right click it's something I could live with).
I have a pretty big request that I think would make proximo really shine.
After using proximo since release, I just recently tryed out Dopies Arena Info mod to try and get even more of an edge. However its code is very bulky and not graphically intuitive, using 5 separate windows for each person. What it excels at is showing customized downloaded arena data that is updated daily (which you can download at http://www.dopiespvpcentral.com/ )
So I'm requesting to utilize parts of that data into Proximos frame. I like dopies arena data more than Tattle because it's updated so much. The three bits of info that I think would be of the most use are: Rating, Resilience, Talents
A separate request I have, is to only show certain debuffs/buffs inside of the healthbars that are important to know. (debuff filtering like in PitBull) ie: blind/icetrap/root/cyclone/polymorph, beast within, blessing of protection or Forbearance on the target.
You're the only person I know having this problem. Are you sure you are running version 1.11? The minimap has nothing to do with it, that's just the only place to get the zone name in the default interface. I'm really not sure what else to suggest unless you have old versions of other ace libraries causing issues. Can you try running a skirmish with only Proximo running?
Its certainly possible, but I can't think of anything off hand that could mess it up. All it really does is wait 5 seconds after you zone to check the zone name, and if its an arena then it shows the Proximo frame. This could be an issue if you joined right at the end of arena prep time and somehow got in combat before the frame could be shown. *Edit* Now that I think about it, if you or someone on your team is a warrior using the rage gain combat "trick" (if that even still works) just after joining, that could cause the frame not to show up because you are in combat.
I believe you said you are running without externals? That should eliminate any library conflicts, but you may want to double check you don't have some externals lying around.

I can confirm blood rage combat pulse with shout spam will prevent the frame from showing during warmup and after the gate has opened it will not show. (This may be by design but i'm fairly sure i remained OOC for more than 5s either side of gate opening).
Once it shows up after zoning you are fine to *cough* exploit *cough*, but it has to be a secure frame to have any ability to click on it. With a secure frame, you can not change many things about it while in combat, including visibility.
Could you please reduce the amount of unnecessary syncing this addon does? Or at least reduce it? Sitting idle after the gates have opened and not entered combat yet and I'm spamming like crap, its not a good sign.
