RPHelper2 is the Ace-ified version of the old Roleplaying Helper. It catches certain events and randomly roleplays based on those events. You can say, emote, or custom emote something. For instance, if you get hurt, you might say "Ow!", emote /bleed, or custom emote "rubs the fresh wound."
Options are included for nearly 50 general events, as well as every spell for every race and class.
Sayings, emotes, and custom emotes are stored by character, making it fully customizable.
Many appropriate RPs are included to get you started.
Unlike in the old Roleplaying Helper, you can add, delete, and edit phrases within the game. No more worries about LUA errors!
Stuff to come:
Import starter phrases from other files (your confused orc might RP like a troll, for instance)
Doesnt a Roleplay mod actually break the Roleplaying Oo ?
Not at all. For instance, my gnome warlock is the chatty type, and is likely to say stuff when she cast spells - for instance, "I'm gonna light you up, sweet cheeks!" when casting Incinerate. But I'm not going to type that every time I cast a spell. I'd never get anything done! Another example - my paladin would probably say something derisive to her attacker when she blocked something with her shield. However, in the middle of battle, I'm going to be paying attention to the mob and my health and my action bars and probably not my combat text. This mod allows my character to react appropriately.
In short, this lets your character react to things they would probably react to if they were real people, but isn't feasible to do on the fly because typing takes a bunch of time. It also lets you respond in-character to certain events that are important for your party members to know about (such as being feared, silenced, etc.). The goal is to enhance, rather than detract from, roleplay.
added the low mana event! It'll fire if you get below 15% mana. It's in the new version that I uploaded just now.
I would say /cheer but there is one problem. I cant find the event in menu to put in phrases. However, when i get below 15% mana RPhealper prints this in may chat : RP Healper 2.0 LOWMANA so i am sure its there maybe it just didnt quite make to options menu :)
There is a bug in the Options-UI with the events.
If I set some spells and emotes to some events, then close and open the Options-UI via /rp again, those events, I have changed, wont apear anymore in the list.
Right now I think the mod is pretty much finished, except that it is causing the client to freeze in some cases. I have NO idea why. :( Hoping some of the lovely people in this community can give me some ideas.
Privelgus, would you by chance be able to translate these?
["Fleeing in fear"] = true,
["Horrified"] = true,
["Charmed"] = true,
["Silenced"] = true,
["Confused"] = true,
["Disoriented"] = true,
["Hexed"] = true,
["Cannot attack or cast spells"] = true,
["%s attempts to run away in fear!"] = true,
["%s calls for help!"] = true,
["%s becomes enraged!"] = true,
I need to know what the tooltip says, as I'm looking for these in the tooltip when a player is debuffed. The last 3 are monster emotes.
Erreur : AceLocale(RPHelper2): Can only accept true as a value on the base locale. "enUS" is the base locale, "frFR" is not.

attempt to call method 'initializeOptions' (a nil value)
This repeats at each line where 'initializeOptions' appears. RPHelper continues to function I just cant access the gui to make changes. Other thans this. Great Job on the rewrite! BTW I'm using r46804.16
