why isn't the OneBank seperated from OneBag ? surely as an Ace2 mod be totaly seperated ?
and as it is im not gonna use the bank one when its dependant on the bag one which i wont be using,
also if you toggle the bag one off the bank one totaly bugs up
OneBag and OneBank, share 95% of the same code.
To this effect it makes sense that I keep this code in one place instead of two.
well then im unable yo use your mod, sorry to say
I'm sorry if you feel this way. I'm working the bugs out that forces OneBag to be enabled in order to use OneBank. As far as it goes though the only other option I'd have would be to remove the core code into a seperate addon again and just have onebag and onebank be dependent upon it.
What you can do if you'd like though is to delete the OneBag.xml and OneBag.lua from the OneBag folder. It would give you a similar effect, however there is still one bug I know about that would make that not work quite right. So let me work it out :)
Got this error when clicking the Config Menu button.
The name and realm is not right at all. :-P
Also on first load all the items had no icons, only the number showing the stacksize.
One thing i dont understand with this mod is how to open OneBank/OneView. None of the commands i tried seems to be able to open them and i cant find a keybinding for it either.
But this looks really promising. Thanks.
What you're showing me is a picture from OneView, right now it loads on startup and doesn't have any other way to load up.
One bank just opens when you open your bank. The bug you've described I've seen and I'm going to fix it once it shows on command ( as I think it'll disapear then anyway).
The Name and zone names are hardcoded atm just for testing, That'll get fixed when I implment character selection.
Having a new bug as of this morning - when I go to the bank and open up OneBank, everything is fine. I close it and open it again and it's empty and only showing 24 slots! I did a /console reloadui and opened up the bank again just fine, and then reproduced the error exactly the same way.
As far as the dependency issue between OneBank and OneBag, would it be feasible to make OneCore into a library that sits in both addons?
I was thinkinga bout it, And its not reasonable to make OneBank non dependent on a nother mod completely. This is because OneCore (which is located inside the OneBags folder) also handles the Load on Demand aspect of OneBank.
Thats right, until you open your bank the bank isn't in memory at all.

Does that mean that you can't view your bank without first going to it? For example, if you exit the game and then come back in, all the info previously in there is no longer available, or does it save the data according to the last information on the bank it has?
Also, is there a way to make OneBank replace the default bank frames? I don't see an option and I'm getting both when I open the bank. :/
Can you please make the frames higher, err what is it called. Higher layer level or something. As it is now oUF unitframes overlap OneBags. Or make an option to change it. :-)
Not quite sure what happened - I updated last night and then this morning I was all ready to say "yep ya got it" ... and then I updated OneView as well and I started getting the error below.

Also a general heds up, OneView is now ready for testing. It allows you select the character, although options(and thus the config menu) aren't in yet
Where does it allow you to select a character? I don't have this in slash commands or attached to the inv or bank frames at all :/
EDIT:
Here's the last working versions in which both OBag and OBank work as they are supposed to:
Completely new SVN download of all 3 onebag addons yielded me the following errors.
On Entering world:
[11:00-48] OneView\\OneStorage.lua:72: attempt to index field `?' (a nil value)
[11:00-48] OneView\\OneStorage.lua:49: attempt to index field `?' (a nil value)
On Opening my bank (which I might add didn't open just threew thees errors:
[11:01-48] OneBag\\libs\\AceDB\\AceDB-2.0.lua:782: attempt to index global `DEFAULT_CHAT_MESSAGE' (a nil value)

I want to second this. It's great to be able to set your inventory to be above the auction frame. As it is I always get to the auction house, open it up, realise the my inventory is covered, close it down, move my inventory to the bottom of the screen, and then get back to auctions.

Got latest version of OneBag/OneBank/OneView from SVN, OneBag has revision 4870. whenever try to open Bank I get my Inv Bags and an AceDB-2.0 error as follows:
Interface\AddOns\OneBag\libs\AceDB\AceDB-2.0.lua:787:attempt to index global 'DEFAULT_CHAT_MESSAGE' (a nil value).

any chance you can get a quick fix in for this?
I got the exact same problem when using the lastest version from the SVN.
