Tuller? Don't get me wrong.. but will you marry me?
One little thing, please please tell me getting dreamlayout on Bongos3 will be easier than Bongos2 lol It's still driving me mad.
Edit: It seems the button.lua is very similar to Bongos2, any chance you could explain how you pull the textures to create the buttons (border, and especially the overlay used with the buff/debuff coloring) I've tried editting the BLPs but it doesn't take. Could you tell me which blp's are used if you know? It'd be a great help in getting bongos2/3 skinned without CyCircled.
I just downloaded the alpha version and played around with it a bit. Two things came up.
a) It would be nice if Bongos was "fubar aware". Right now it snaps to the edge of the screen when I
get close and ends up under Fubar. While I could just turn off the smart snap, it would be even
better if it could be aware of fubar and snap to fubar rather than the edge.
b) When I added crtl-shift-1 (or any similar combination) it adds all combinations of these as a
keybinding (crl-shift, ctrl-1, shift-1 etc). Also, I just played with stances on my druid (for the first time) and was hoping that the
keybinding would point to the same "slot" regardless of which page I was on... now it tries to switch
pages too. What I mean is that the first button on each page should have the same keybind,
otherwise the paging is only useful for clickers.

Are you liking the new Blizzard Interface Config Panel? I know I am :D
Yep. Though to be fair, I was going to make the Bongos window look pretty much like that anyway :P
I prefer it over Bongos2 tbh, I love the look on the windows, even though right now it clashes with my current UI. But time for a redo once 2.4 hits the fan live.
Tuller, I only have one painful question, and I have been trying for a few hours yet again to figure it out. I can change the normal look of things (non-check/no highlight etc) on the buttons to a more dreamlayout (or any other look), but the buff/debuff highlight etc, I can't get it changed at all. Do you perhaps have any idea in which direction I'd have to look? I've tried modifying the blps to no avail, tried with button:SetHighlightTexture. But nothing works.
The buff border is the checked texture for a button.
Thanks :) If I ever get it to fully work, I'll post it (and yes, I am working with Bongos3 as well.) Perhaps there could be a way to write a plugin (without libs) for it? Or even just an addin module?

Tuller, here's how I did it with Bongos2, tomorrow I'll put that into Bongos3 and see how that fares :) Thank you for your help, that little "it's the checked texture" actually set me off in the right spot (not just direction) and I solved my headache with all that.
EDIT:
Sorry .. I guess I was sleepier than I thought >.< Anyhow, this button.lua from Bongos2_ActionBar, I've made the folder textures in the main bongos2 directory for easy sake. The only thing I can still see rounded corners with (can't discern if it's really rounded or not) is the "active" look on eg, the classbar when a form/aura is active. PetBar hasn't been tested yet.
I'm working on the right click selfcast issue & fixed the castbar.
After that is the keybinding issue.
I'm pondering implementing configurable showstates after that.
I love the look of the interface options, though I understand that's in the normal UI for 2.4.

I second this. I like the sticky bars to help line things up, but I have to be very careful not to get my bars under Fubar.
I would like to have "Right Mouse Click" as self cast option :) (that currently only works if you have yourself as the current target but should work without that)
I love Bongos, and have been slowly migrating my addons to an Ace2 equivalent. This is exciting! I'm kinda bummed that I have to wait for 2.4 to test it out though. :)
I just tried Bartender3 and it's lacking too many things that I heavily relied on in Bongos.
Having the bar mod in my pool of Ace one-click update addons will be stellar!
One small, non-critical request: I generally set the properties for each bar the same - minus one being vertical. Having a "Global" area for settings like spacing, hover and normal alpha would be awesome.
Also: in yer screen shot, we'll be able to modify OmniCC setting in there too!? That's tight.
ahh, I hadnt tried the mousewheel.. Ill give that a run this evening when I get home.
Sure, an override would be fine.. er, heck what ever you decide will be fine... as it is not a show stopper by any means.

Right Click Selfcast only works when you enable it, after a reload or log off stops working.

I only found one small problem, I go into the config and turn off the showing of keybindings. Once I stealth on the rogue, they come back on.

That's just the new options screen that's connected to the new default Interface Options window for 2.4.
