sorry, i havent read the whole thread... is there a way to activate character specific key binding for this addon? if i bind something on my druid, it binds on my rogue too and on any other char i have :/
tnx.. great addon.
I am wondering if you can set multiple bar pages when you change stances.
I would like to change BOTH Bar1 and Bar2 whenever I change stances but I'm not given the option in the menu (or atleast not that I can find). I am able to set up a single bar just fine, but not both bars. Is this an option or is this limited by the way the default UI/bars work?
This is kind of what I want for my Priest:
Bar 1 - Damage Spells
Bar 2 - Misc spells, macro's, trinkets, etc
Not in Shadowform:
Bar 1 - Healing spells
Bar 2 - Damage spells
Sorry if its been answered, I didn't read the full 60 pages but I did try a search with no luck.
I recently converted a friend to BT3, and after walking him through setting it up, I'm a bit curious about something. Why do the "next/previous action bar" keybindings (by default, shift-up/down and shift-mouswheelup/down) still function when Button Paging is disabled on Bar 1?
Although these bindings cannot be applied to the other bars, it seems counterintuitive that one must go into the Blizzard keybinding window and unbind these keys even after disabling Bartender's paging option. Took us quite a while to figure that one out.
Is it currently possible to have pages change on target reaction? E.g. healing spells if target friendly, damage spells if target unfriendly.
I've asked this question a while back, before TBC release, and I was told it would be possible in WoW 2.0. I don't find the option to do this though, I might be blind, or maybe it isn't implemented, or is not possible? If possible, are there any plans to add it in? Even some workarounds would do if there are no plans to add something like this.
Up to now I've been playing my warlock main 100% of the time, but I'm thinking to level up my priest alt, and I'm very used with this feature in BT2 to the point I can't imagine playing without it. :) I did some PvP post-2.0 and pre-TBC, using macros for the action bar buttons to cast healing or damage spells depending on target reaction. It isn't an ideal solution though, I'd much prefer having a proper way to do it.
Would you be interested in adding "mirror" options to Bartender's action bars or would that add too much clutter to the configuration options? I'm imagining a toggle in each bar's configuration menu which reverses the ordering of the bar's action buttons on either axis.
I realize that you can configure the exact same thing by switching actions and changing key bindings but this is rather cumbersome. I find that I usually position actions relative to the center of the screen rather than the first index of the action bar. For example actions closer to the center of the screen might be more important than those near the edges. Moving the location of a bar can therefore require me to swap the positions of most of the actions and change their key bindings. Additionally a "mirror" option would allow first time users to arrange their existing actions bars mroe easily without altering key bindings.
Would any one else find it useful to be able to flip their actions bars in this way? Would it be useful enough to justify adding clutter to each bar's configuration UI?
Hello, great addon :D (Sorry for my bad english)
I have one question. How can I load always my "Default" profile in the SavedVariables/Bartender3.lua when I enter with other character and don't load the default profile that comes with Bartender3.
At the moment, I need to do right click in the Bartender3, and select the "Default" profile for load my own profile... but I need load it automatically...
I don't know if you understand me jeje
I've been going back and forth between BT3 and Bongos. Basically the only thing I miss in BT3 are the sticky bars. It would make life much easier if a) you could make bars stick to each other and b) make them stick to the edge of the screen (and FuBar bars). Any hope for this functionality showing up anytime soon?
