dolus: I don't know the exact command, but try /bar for command line menu.
News from my sudden-bar-changing-front: Today, when lurking through an instance with my priest, my Bar1 changed again: Bar1 showed the buttons of Bar6, Bar6 Showed the buttons of Bar1 in shadow form (I activated the bar switch option for Bar1) - though I was NOT in shadow form. Relogging fixed Bar1, but not Bar6 that remained with shadow form buttons even when switching in shadow form and back to normal.
This time the Bar changing happened when I was looting, maybe rolling for some green loot.
I just installed Bartender3, and so far, so good. I've figured out the druid stances and even made a Shadowform stance with my bars alternating between my shadowform spells and my heal spells for my priest.
My main problem is my druid and my shaman. In the past, I would scroll to Bar 2 and that had all my heal spells on it for both of these characters. When I was called upon to be a healer, I'd use the standard bar keybinds on Bar 2, and I've gotten very used to that setup for healing (ie, I'd hit Key 1 for Healing Touch Rank 8, or Lesser Healing Wave for my shaman, etc.). Now, Bar 2 has all those spells, but Bar 1 has the keybinds. Shamans don't have stances, and I like keeping my regular bar for my druid as it has things on it that don't require healing (such as War Stomp and Moonfire).
Is there any way to hit a key/macro/menu option to go into "healing mode" and change the bar keybinds to the way my default Blizz UI had it set up, aka Bar 2? Or am I out of luck for these specific characters?

you could press Shift-2 ( or whatever you set the keybinding to ), to change the bar.
And Shift-1 to get back to your original bar.
Or even setup a macro with the actionbar commands ( dont know them from the top of my head tho )
I didn't shift to the action by by a keybinding (I actually clicked on the little down arrow to scroll the bar), but that may work. If it does, I will certainly let you know!

The command is "/changeactionbar x" where x is the page to switch to. You can also do "/swapactionbar 1 2" to switch between pages 1 and 2 and back again with one macro. I have found these to be unreliable though. They seem to work in testing but sometimes fail in combat. This is not just with bartender - I had problems with the Blizzard default bars too.
(I've not tried it for a while though so it may have been fixed)
I didn't have time to read the whole thread, so someone might already have asked this.
Is it possible to alter the code somehow so I can swap the bars with keys other than ctrl, alt, or shift? I would find it especially useful to switch pages by pressing the middle mouse button, and change back by releasing it.
I've looked through the source, but I can't find the actual Frame-Names, I use Visor2 to move all my frames around, and knowing the names of these would be a Godsend to me (no substitute for exact positioning - not even dragdrop!)
I was wondering if it's possible to have keybindings for the stance-bar.
sure .. thats a standard wow feature and bt3 just adds the moving/hiding thing to the original stance bar.. I'm not sure how it's called in the keybindings but it's there :)

Ran into a serious problem today. I'm doing the quests in Death's Door, and one of them has you take over a fel cannon. Bartender would not let me control the cannon's abilities. I also enslaved some felguards there, and the pet bar was locked. I had to disable Bartender (losing all keybindings except the main bar) to finish the quest, which really disappoints me since it's been an awesome bar mod so far. If you need more info, I'll try and provide what I can.
EDIT: Tried something different for the second cannon. The problem only occurs if I don't dismiss my current pet first.
I have an odd issue. When I logged in today I noticed that when I would mouse over an icon - like a warrior move - the details of the move would not show at all, only the name of the move. When I mouse over trinkets all the details are listed, it seems only all the class specific move details are not showing up. I tried checking with another character but it had the same issue - trinkets had the details but none of the class specific did except for the name of the move. Any way to fix this?

try going into menu -> interface options, and see if "show beginner/enhanced" tooltips is checked. else maybe there's a mod altering your tooltips in some way?

It was checked and oddly enough after I got disconnected everything was back to the way it was. :S
Hello, can I ask if there are any plans to implement a feature whereby bars can be hidden until "mouseover'ed"? and if so when we are likely to see such a development?
I much prefer Bartender3, but I am currently stuck using Trinity because it seems to be the only bar mod that has this feature.
