Yep same here, used it on Tuesday night for our raid as normal. Did a WAU update just before our Wednesday raid as normal, and used BB, this seemed to miss ALL food even though they were active on people.
Tried again Thursday night, updated as normal before the raid, and it was still the same in the raid. I tried this as RL aswell as a squib and it was the same result, asked the other officers to try theirs, they all had the same results. All foods were being reported as not used.
I would like to make a suggestion for a new feature for Big Brother. It is a bit different from what it does now, but I think it might be in the spirit of the mod, plus it may be easy to add if you are reading combat log events now.
I'd be interested in a boss parry tracker, where I could see a warning every time a boss mob parried a player. Tanks may get legitamitely parried, but melee should not if they are properly behind the boss, and if they are consistently in front of the mob, I might like to know about it.
I think you can get this info from the 2.4 combatlog. The hard part would be limiting the display to boss mobs, and ignoring when the main tank is parried (although as a healer I may want to know this anyway, any parry hastens the boss's next swing).
Thought I'd suggest this here. I can write up a mod just for this, but I figured raid leaders interested in checking up on buffs and CC breaks may want to also know about mispositioned melee. Thanks!
BigBrother's console output on CC breaks is typing over itself, from adding the raid icons. This is causing some character shifting/blurring as the font only partially overwrites the old version. My guess: the string is being output twice (before and after adding in the raid icons).
Should be fixable by preventing the output of the string until the final version is built?
Haven't tried this yet, and came here to see why Seduction, Ice Trap, and Sap were not options for notification. I see in this thread, that they are (or some are -- i'll have to actually test it). So, would it be possible to:
A) Allow for each CC to be a separate option checkbox. i.e. I care about Seduction, Trap, Shackle, and Poly -- but I could care less if someone breaks a sap.
B) Could there be an exclusion for either certain players or certain classes. As mentioned in a post above, I really don't care if an MT or OT breaks a CC.
Otherwise, this is *exactly* what I'm looking for! Looking forward to putting a bit of pressure on those in my raids who keep breaking CC and killing us all.
Now that I've actually had a chance to try this addon, I can tell you, i've been looking for this exact functionality for months! GREAT MOD! Oddly, I probably won't use the buff thing, just the CC breaker -- I wanna know who's messing with the shackles and frost traps, and hopefully a little raid-party posting will make them smarten up (yes, it's harsh, but some people need to learn).
However, I noticed that it doesn't seem to tell you when someone breaks CC from melee. When the rogue melee broke a seduction, nothing was posted. When the tank melee broke a seduction, nothing was posted. But when the tank shot the seduction, a post was done. This really does go back to Part B of my original post and Halthron's request of filtering only certain players, but even more than that, *not* filtering when the other players do melee to break CC. I've had a few bad hunters sick their pets or take a melee swing at shackles lately, and I need to be able to catch those.
Other than that, *GREAT* mod. This is my new top addon recommendation for any raid leaders who need to restore order!
I've reviewed some rather extensive logs from my own testing with polymorph and breaking said polymorph, and as it turns out, SPELL_AURA_DISPELLED only fires when the removal action is a spell itself. That is to say, no combat log event currently fires when an aura is removed as a consequence of a melee swing. As a consequence, it's not yet possible to warn. I'll whine a bit about it on the blizzard forums, but don't hold your breath.
Please elucidate on 'garbled', as it renders correctly in my enUS client in 2.4.2. It's also worth noting that I'm not even setting size on the icons, so the ChatFrame AddMessage handler should scale it to your font size, iirc.
