trying to attach it here. I will emailing Caliga a little later to see if I can upload this version to Curse.
Since I don't have or know how to use the SVN with WAU, I would avoid updating this mod with it, less you wanna loose all the updates.
Also note, that my music tab is selected in the sound & voice tab, I have not gotten this to turn it on regardless if it is selected or not, and the mute button will work, kinda...
If you select the mute button it will mute the music, though you will have to unmute and start the song over again to hear it.
I will try to get the rest fingered out a little later this week if I get more time.
Your version works, no errors!!Thanks! As for the mute I never use it...remote to the surround sound stereo works good for that.
Remotes FTW, just wish my Universal Remote would still work on the Fel Reaver. Good times were had there!
I'm still waiting on a response from Caliga since Caliga was the last known Author, but I was looking into the code and it really isn't a mute button at all. I think that is why it is not working like one would think. I'm trying to rewrite part of it so that it basically turns the volume down to 0, but oh god....such a pain for me grrr
Also, if anyone has any ideas [aside from WoWWiki, of which I have had my face glued] on how to improve the list feature to something more managable, atleast for those who have a gazillion songs lol, I'm all ears! That and some suggestions for a simple togglevolume function. One that doesn't need to go round and round and upside down and slowly drain my last remaining brain cell :)
I, myself, like the listing of music.I've tried other music players, and besides the fact that MusicStream is right on the the fubar ,and the ability to toggle the player off, I stay with it because of the way the music is selected. The only thing I didn't care for ( and it's not MusicStream) was when you put in a compilation cd and it lists ALL the bands...make the list unruly ( maybe that is what you are referring too).
I've been spending the greater portion of the last week or so doing bug fixes and adding features. I will most likely be uploading it as a fan update on wowinterface, giving credit where credit is due of course.
I'll post the link when I get it uploaded. Stay tuned.
Remade the exe/script that builds the library.
Fixed the volume bar so it actually works.
Almost got the mute button to work perfectly.
Change a bit of the code in places.
Fixed spelling and grammar errors.

Key bindings not working
[string "TOGGLE_SCPLAY"]:1:attempt to call global 'MS_playmusic' (a nil value)
I received this error before and after I reset everything. Going to play with it some more to see if I was being a dumbshit again ( Ref: WOW Forum post )
(Also helps if I list all errors that I have seen in reference to this addon (I really need to start this week over dammit))
I get this error as soon as I log into a char in WoW
Interface\Addons\MusicStream\modules\PlayerSettings/lua:456: Couldn't Find CVar named 'EnabledMusic'
Please let me know if I'm being a moron and not doing something right!
On one of the posts near the top of this page someone has a fixed version.I was getting that before, but I haven't had any since using the fixed one.If your using the Ace updater right click on MusicStream and ignore updates so it won't get over written.Hope this helps.

Synnastyr the version that I worked on I had gotten rid of the errors for the CVars... I'll repost it down here. I never worked on the keybindings, haven't even bother to test them. Supposedly Chef was going to release a more updated version and that is why I suspended my tinkering with this project.
Suggestion, if you want to try this one then make sure to back up your current savedvariables incase you want to revert to the copy you have, then clean it all out. I use WAU after I delete an addon to clean out the savedvars, works really nice.
Downloading that one fixed the CVAR prob, thanks. If you are interested in knowing this I am still seeing a key binding issue on all key binds.
Well before I dive back into this code pile I'll wait and see what Chef has, it looks like he's got the blessing of of the original author as well, so we'll wait and see. Not to mention I am no mod coder for sure.

What changes were you planning on implementing?

I'll post it once I get all the bugs that I've encountered straightened out.
I haven't fiddled with anything in while since you prolly have more knowledge with this type of programming.
[I know when to say stuff stumps me lol]
