This appears to me to be working perfectly, and the FuBar plug-in is spectabulous. Huzzah! I wonder if you've considered inserting a "Disenchant" entry when adding Enchanting to the dropdown? It'd be a convenient nicety, if it's not a nuisance. I may even remember enough about coding to take a stab at it myself (but those holding their breath *will* imblue!)
That's a great idea, I'll get that in :)

Messed around with this today on 2 different accounts for enchanting and alchemy and it worked perfectly. thank you for making enchanting less sucky :)
Thanks!

Im not gonna be playing WoW tonight, in fact I only popped on here for a little bit.
Quick question: does the mat list show the base mats or just the mats listed in the recipe?
As an engineering I have to go through a maze before I can craft certain items (1 mat requires 3 other mats and those mats require another mat etc). Would be nice to just have an addon which figures out all the base mats, creates the 2nd mats and crafts the item.
Not currently, but it's on the to-do list.

Hello! Would be nice if you'll add crafting cooldowns like 4 days for Mooncloth. Or maybe this feature is already here and I just didnt notice it?
I have no idea whatsoever how I overlooked this. I'll get it added ASAP.

Is there an easier way to make a certain amount of a specific item rather than just 1 or 10? I think I'm missing something.
sup ermer :D I've been trying to think of a good way to implement this, I've got a couple ideas.

I notice that if I open Manufac from the spellbook or from an action button that hitting the Close menu option, or clicking outside of the Manufac menus, does not actually *close* the profession window, it just seems to hide it from view. When this happens you can see that the profession icon on the action bar will stay highlighted to indicate its active. Clicking it again gives the UI sound to indicate its closing.
That's odd, I'll take a look.. I haven't ever really used those close buttons ;)

Very nice addon! Haven't found a problem using it so far.
There is only 2 things I am missing though. The first is some sort of CD for the philosopher's stone, and secondly, the ability to create a certain number of items, like 10, 20, 50.
How do you think you'd like to access the '10, 20, 50' options -- would a text entry field be preferable, or some kind of dropdown list?

Great addon, though there were a lot of "unsorted" recipies with Enchanting and especially Engineering (in fact so many unsorted engineering recipies that they didn't fit into the screen ;)). Here's my savedvariables lua, hope that helps: http://www.subatomic.de/Manufac.lua
Yeah, I had to use a friend's alt for the engineering, so the list was a little sparse. Thanks for the data :D
A problem I noticed with the FuBar plugin: it only works if you opened the tradeskill windwow for each tradeskill at least once since login, otherwise all menus are empty.
This is intentional, and regrettably necessary--the data is not accessible to the ui until the tradeskill window is opened, and for a short period of time after the window is closed. The problem is that there's no way to know when that data's not gonna be available anymore, could be 2 seconds, could be five minutes. My early test versions closed the window, which caused some major problems.
But, those dropdown buttons in the FuBar menu are clickable to summon the profession :)
Edit: Thought I'd be nice and add the categories for the unsorted items (ok, I was bored ;)), they're in the linked lua now. Also added two new categories for engineering, "Pets" for the various non combat pets made by engineers(Lifelike Mechanical Toad, Tranquil Mechanical Yeti etc.), and "Fireworks" for the 3 standard fireworks (green, blue, red) and the special firework/rocket recipies obtained during the Moon Festival.
Great, thanks a lot. :)
I'd like to apologize again for not having this on the svn yet.. still haven't heard back from cladhaire on my info not working :(
Maybe for the amount of things you want crafted you can set it up queue style. The way I envision it is that you have the dropdown have options like "Add 1 to queue" "Add 5 to queue" and "queue all" that you can click multiple times to get your desired amount
Below those options you have a live queue saying "Making X of craft" that updates when you add more of the item to the queue. I can draw up a picture if you don't understand
the tricky part about setting up a queue system is that the game requires a click event to start each given item, so I'd want to be very, very careful do to do it right, as it can't be done completely within the confines of the dewdrop menu. It's on the to-do list, but it's at about the bottom; I want to make sure I can get things like the mats breakdown working right first, so that I can design the queuing system with those things in mind.
Seems that the 'close' button that I added closes the professions properly... but the 'close' button at the bottom of the fubar menu (as well as any other way of closing the menu) won't close the menu. Can't, really.. unless someone can point me to a dewdrop:OnClose() function?
Nymbia - maybe I'm just missing this somewhere, but did you include an option to NOT display the FuBar plugin? I tried the Enable/Disable button but all that does is disable manufac entirely.

For now you should be able to disable the fubar plugin from the fubar menu, but I'll get an option added to hide the button.
Updated Defaults (thanks to everyone who contributed, keep em coming). Added Disenchant button to Enchanting category list. Added Cooldowns. Not sure why FuBar doesn't embed it's "Enabled" option into the menu properly.
Still at work but ran into this and I'll have to give it a go this evening.
Items of note:
1) How do you think you'd like to access the '10, 20, 50' options -- would a text entry field be preferable, or some kind of dropdown list?
- 1, 5, 10 are pretty good for a drop-down; I'd personally prefer an input box to enter the total I need.
2) For examples of the Queue system (if you wanted some): http://www.fizzwidget.com/autocraft/
I really like his setup for that, it's some good greaseworks. It doesn't auto-run anymore since Blizzard axed that :P but does give you a list of items you have queued in the form of icons along the bottom the screen, and then you can click icon to cancel or create to run the next icon in the list. The only other thing it does is accounts for items in the queue when deciding if you can craft an item or not.

Raw Mats: 10 copper bars
Powder: 2 bars per
Bombs: 3 bars per
Didn't want to edit the other reply since this is POST playing with it.
It may seem odd, but I'd really like the option to choose:
1) Loading the default tradeskill windows then clicking from there to open the Manufac list
2) Current default that replaces the tradeskill window altogether
Would also be nice if we could provide an offset to the anchor positions you have. I like using TopRight but it runs up against my tooltips for other things a bit too much. That and the offset would give a bit more flexibility location wise.
Updated Defaults. Moved FuBar plugin to different file; delete Manufac-FuBar.lua if you don't want the fubar plug. Added "Create X" to cast the tradeskill a specified number of times. Added position offsets.
As far as svn stuff is concerned, should I send cladhaire another email, or a PM, or is there someone else I should email? This zip file stuff is getting a little old. :(

sign! get this stuff on svn :) love this addon btw every day i can be more lazy :)
Hmmm, since you're already tracking cooldowns somehow, I'm wondering if it would be a lot of work to take tcg_tradeskills and incorporate it? Basically, it keeps track of cooldowns across all characters, allowing you to be alerted when you can make another Arcanite Bar with your alt and such.

Well, all I'm doing with cooldowns is grabbing the cooldown data for the tradeskill the same way the tradeskill window does, Manufac doesn't actually store and watch cooldowns..
If I were to add cross-character info, I'd probably go a lot more complicated than than just the cooldowns, but I'm not sure I want to do that at this point.

Oh dear god please don't. Manufac is good with what it does. Don't pollute it with other functionality or trying to mimic other addons. If you want the functionality of tcg_tradeskills, then use it. I tried it for a few days and ended up deleting it as it drove me nuts.
