Now that most/all interrupt coordination mods are dead in WoW 2.4.x, GnomishInterrupter is great. A bit more difficult to coordinate things (which may no longer be possible) with announces only, but works pretty well.
A couple things with r75336. This only provides alerts of your interrupts to the party channel, making it unusable in raids (unless, of course, all your interrupters are in one party). Interrupt coordination is usually more important/difficult in raids than parties. So I changed line 18 from
Seemed to work OK on relogging, but it "seemed" as though it was missing some interrupts done by my character in a raid group after that change. Not all, but some. Was using the warrior's (Berserker Stance) Pummel.
Put in an option for either raid or party say?
One interrupt that never appeared in chat despite my character doing it, both when the file was unaltered & after the change I put in: Shade of Aran's Arcane Missiles.
There is still the issue with GnomishInterrupter not detecting that one Aran spell being interrupted (as it is now). Confirmed again this week.
As to other interrupt mods, IRQ was last updated in February & uses Parser-3.0. VodkaKickers doesn't use Parser, but was last updated last year and I assumed that it would use 2.4-obsolete combat log functions to coordinate. Deadened doesn't look like an interrupt coordinating mod from its description, but looking through the code, yes, it does apparently announce interrupts. Will see how it goes.
Only option wanted in GnomishInterrupter is the ability to say the interrupts in raid chat instead of or in addition to party chat :). But no problem. Don't know yet if there is any LUA modification needed in addition to what I listed above to use raid instead of party chat reliably. It works, but seems to miss some interrupts. Is there anything else?
