Anyone having problem with Mace Stun Effect (rogue) not showing up? I don't see it in my combat log either (using Simple Combat Log). Is there something I need to do?
There isn't a default trigger for Mace Stun Effect. Go to triggers and click Create New. Name it "Mace Stun!" or whatever you want, then set the primary condition to: "Target Debuff Gain - Mace Stun Effect". Take a look at the default "Blackout!" trigger if your confused since this is basically the same thing.
To whoever mentioned triggers being inconsistent - I have the same problem. The rogues Riposte! trigger works only sometimes for me (it appears right now to be the second riposte opportunity during combat), but my Mace Stun! trigger works all the time.
Edit: After some more testing I've figured out the problem is the default Secondary Condition. By default lots of these things have as a secondary condition "Spell Ready: Spell Name". If this is on it seems that you'll need to use the ability once to put it on cooldown before the trigger will work a second time. Delete the secondary condition and the trigger works fine.
Dunno if I'm missing something obvious or it's just not possible, but is there any way to set how far below the scroll area anchor that text begins to scroll from? I'm basically looking for a way to set it so that crits in the scroll area appear where I want them, and scrolled text appears at the same point (more or less) and begins it's scroll from there, and I'd rather not create a new scroll area to do it with. Right now, to keep my Notification scrolls from covering my hotkeys, I have to position the notification anchor so that sticky text effectively blots out the bottom half of my HUD, making percentages displayed unusable.
Have had Parrot working for a while now unti last week when I tried out La Vendetta. When I disabled La Vendetta, most Rock addons went haywire (Pitbull/Parrot/Cart). Enabling La Vendetta got all the addons to work again, except Parrot.
Getting this by start up:
attempt to index local 'addon' (a string value)
Slash command dosen't work. Hitting /Rock, it shows in the listing and gives an error:
attempt to index updatevalue 'Parrot_ScrollAreas' (a nil value)
After that, some Parrot options show, though not all are listed.
attempt to index upvalue 'Parrot_Display' (a nil value)
I've reinstalled the addon and removed the old lua files without result :(
Damn, I lost all my settings. I decided to create a profile in Parrot for my rogue, so I removed all saved variable files and started from scratch. Selected my char as profile and started to config Parrot (and I change alot of stuff, because I don't like the info-spam default setting has). It saved fine because I used it yesterday. But today when I logged on, it had reset everything. My profile is still selected but the settings are default.
Well I redid all my settings (phew) after wiping the savedvariables file and not using any profile (default). And it seems to work now. Not touching profile for now, as it seemed to bug out severely for me.
Anyway, I found a very good setting that I've not used before. And that was the notification on item buff fade, which I put a distinct sound too. Now I immediately know when my poisons run out.
I'd like to know if there was a way to add the damage done by a spell reflect?
I tried it by adding [amount] at the end of the skill reflect ingoing category but that just shows me stuff like that: Shadowbolt Reflect! [amount]
I was wondering if it is possible to color the amount of damage done, as it is done with SCT for instance, instead of just coloring the "-". I really love the functionality parrot offers, but seeing only white numbers is omewhat counter intuitive for me.
I'd like to know this as well, it was brought up in the previous Parrot thread and I noticed it in Jira as well. It seems like the Outgoing damage coloring takes precedence over the Event coloring.
Error was something like "AddOn a nil value". I'm sorry I don't remember the most important, the line number ;(
It was solved updating Fubar & Cartographer whose were a little old. I'm just a little suprised that they can conflict with their Rock embedded version, I was thinking that only the most recent version of Rock is loaded.
Is it possible to add trinket cooldowns as notification? I mean that you get a notification when the cooldown is over.
I'd like to know this too, aswell as consumables (Potions, Dark Runes, etc)
Edit: Currently I use CooldownTimers2, but the way to get it to display only the text "Icon of the Silver Crescent Ready!" is wonky and doesn't match the spell ready in Parrot (which I like more). I'd like to have Item Ready! available in my combat text mod.
