Alright guys, here's an early version of my mHud skin - mHud_sArcasm.
Completely original bars created in Photoshop. Includes player, target, and focus out of the zip. Custom alpha and falloff settings are also included for those of us weening from DHud/Metahud/etc.
Combo points, pet status, and shapeshift mana aren't currently in, however I am working on them. In the meantime, editing the current bars to suit your needs (or, in the case of combo points, using stock textures) works just fine.
getting a error today after updating from the branch off the svn
[2008/03/24 16:38:25-404-x83]: mHud\ManaTicker\ManaTicker.lua:61: attempt to index field 'rTab' (a nil value)

This mod hasnt worked for me in about 2 months of new builds... only an old build from January works fine... All the new builds don't display any HuD and there are no bar options, that menu feature is empty...

If you update, you need to reset your profile (delete all mHud.lua in your WTF sub folders)

Error: Cannot find a library instance of Threat-1.0.

Again the same error, but now it does not dissapear even if i reinstall mHud WITH externals. Happened after 2.4 patch of course.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that if I copy from backup (before 2.4 by WAU update) it works fine.
This just means that mHud has not been updated for 2.4. Threat-1.0 is the threat library used by Omen (and others) for pre-2.4 versions of WoW/TBC. The correct version would have been Threat-2.0.
This is the one i created earlier, it's easy to make those tho :)
I tried for hours to make vertical bars. Thats not my cake tho.
Could you give a short explanation how to make (vertical) bars in Gimp or PS or PSP?
Or maybe you make one and put the code in a link?
Another request:
Could there be a scaling option for the whole hud? And options to move it up and down?
BTW. SVN is some sort of library?
What does the falloff option do exactly?
To resize bars, can there be added an inputbox next to the sliders?
The sliders arent so accurate.

To make a vertical bar, with a normal horizontal status bar texture:
1. Set texture to some normal texture, like Blizzard
2. Set Bar rotation to 270 (same as default)
3. Set texture rotation to 270.
There is no scaling at the moment, might add it at a later stage.
SVN is a tool we use for keeping track of versions etc. Use full when you have more than one developer, it gives a good history of all files (you can roll back among other things), branching (like a tree, same roots, but different when at the tips). Google it if you want more info, no it's not a library, it's a communication protocol (among other things).
Falloff visualize the gain/loss of bars. To view it in action, enable it on outgoing and incoming, and enter edit mode.
The numbers you see on the sliders are input boxes, just input the number you want directly. This applies to all AceGUI-3.0 configurations.
I'm sure I'm just stupid and missed it, but how do you disable bars? ie, I want to disable the default HP bar, but I don't see how to toggle it of like you use to be able to in the old build and it wont let me delete it.
Also, I didn't notice a threat bar anymore, is this correct?
Reason being, I really only use mHuD fro the threat bar and the mana/rage/energy bar... after i have more to time to play with it, i'll utilize more, but to get started, thats all I want.
The only way currently to disable a bar is to delete it. /mhud -> Bars -> BarX (where X is the bar number you want to delete), click 'Remove this bar'.
If you need the bar back you can either reload the skin/profile, or just create a new bar to suit your needs. Either of those options are pretty easy, especially if you're using the default settings of a skin anyway.
Threat isn't back in yet. Give it some time, it'll come soon enough.
Is it possible to get the 5 second mana regen to change to a 2 second tick? I don't need to know the out of combat as much as I'd like to know when I'm getting another pop of in-combat regen.

Thats the thing, I tried to delete it, but it wouldn't let me. Is it because its one of the default bars? cause I can delete additional bars that I create, just not the original HP one.

No, there is no threat handler in the current version, but it's coming in a week or 2.
If you are upgrading, plz use the following command:
If it doesn't work, don't hesitate to let me know ;)
Here is the thing:
- If I update from files.wowace.com/mHud/ and d/l the latest file (at this moment it is mHud-r66688) still I get no bars to show with a new error:
Error: attempt to index field 'profileKeys' (a nil value)
File: Interface\AddOns\mHud\mSkin.lua
Line: 22
Count: 1
- Using script command gives another error:
Error: attempt to index field 'db' (a nil value)
String: LibStub("AceAddon-3.0"):GetAddon("mHud").db...
Count: 1
Also /mhud command to bring up configuration window is not working.
Sorry for being boring and thank you for patience and time.
Edit: Just committed the changes, should resolve this issue. (r66709)
Regards.

Edit: Updated the Wiki with some of the "old" info, http://www.wowace.com/wiki/MHud - Create your own textures
