What is mHud?
It's an add-on for displaying your health and mana/energy/rage mid screen (normally).
The bars and text are ''not'' unit frames, it's information only, so clicking on them will not do anything. In practice you click whats behind the bars/indicators.
Download beta: Latest or other versions. Warning: This mod is in development state, key functions might be changed without warning.
Skins: If you'd like to create your own skin, plz follow this guide/template (zip).
Are you updating, and can't see any bars?
When you upgrade to the 2.4 version, remove your mHud.lua files in your WTF folder, or use the following command in-game:
I don't normally like HUDs, but this looks nice. :) Good job. :)
And, I apologize, but my spidey-senses are going off at misspellings. :( I'm really, really sorry, but I thought I'd let you know that Incoming has only one m (in your options menu). :) There's a few more in your OP, but I'll be good and not say anything. :D
Starting already with a feature request for texts: DogTags :)
I actually had DogTags at an earlier stage, but temporary dropped it, I'll try to implement it again, but that prob calls for another text box pr bar to, don't you think?

Haha, thx, notepad++ doesn't have spell checking ;) I'll past 'em via some other program and look for the rest ;)
My first ace add on, so had some trouble with the externals and the SVN, thought I'd fixed it, but some subfiles of Threat-1.0 are generating some errors.

Just checked it out. Absolutely loving it. Very customizable, exactly what i was looking for. Text and bars will be displayed with mhud, important buffs/debuffs via elkbuffbars.
I only have one problem:
There arent enough avaiable bars if I want to show player, target, focus healt and mana. It would be awesome to see them all ;-).
looks great.
I was trying to figure out how to make the movement of the bar more fluid, so tried to turn off falloff (cuz im not really sure what falloff is).
after not seeing any direct change, I logged out and back in and get the below error on login:
mHud-0.20r1\mHud.lua:870: attempt to index field 'falloff' (a nil value)
AceAddon-2.0-57245 (Ace2):926: in function <Interface\AddOns\Ace2\AceAddon-2.0\AceAddon-2.0.lua:919>

I cannot open up the Bar configuration after that.....
Deleting SV and all goes back to fine. except the non fluid movement of bar.
looks very slick and promising. keep up the great work.
I would appreciate a toggable "outline" like archud2 has.
And of course some options to manipulate the shown hp/mana text - some people prefer %-values all the time, others want to see absolute values (as soon as they are available).
@ Mastamarax: I'll try to allow everyone to add as many as they like, shouldn't be to hard. :)
@ Lewzephyr: Thx for the details, I'll have a look into it :)
@ Feist2: I thought about adding one, but I couldn't decide where to put it, and how to implement it visually, any ideas? A "spark" using the same texture as the bar, with some visible color?
@ Raphael_M: The best way to do this is by creating a background with a strong outline, and semi/full-transparent core. Then setting the background alpha to 1.0. I uploaded my source images so you can play with them if you'd like.
@ All: I'm not to good at naming things, any one have a good replacement name for "falloff"? And thx for your comments!

Not sure on what to call it as I am still not quite sure what it is.
Is that part of the animation / flow of the fill and empty of the bar in question? If not, what / where should I look to change that to work as a standard bar does and just a steady flow with no fancy fill animaiton. (looks neat, just a little distracting to me)

Yes it is. You can customize the direction, color and alpha to dim it down if it's to distracting, or disable it all together, saves ~20k-40k memory pr bar I think.
Updated just about 10 min ago.
I was trying to display the target health and have it look similar to the Player bar. My end intent is to put Player health and mana on the left, and target health and mana on the right similarly to the standard setting in ArcHud and a few others.
After changing the settings to duplicate the player bar, the bar still displayed horizontally... So I reloaded UI to take a look see if the settings got set, but had to do the magic reload.
on log in, I receive error:

after a little more fiddling round I got:

Love the ascetics of this HUD. Thanks for your time and work.
I managed to bork a few things as well, so here it goes:
when i clear my focus via focus the focus healthbar and focus manabar do not disappear as they should. I doublechecked my settings, and reactivated the text for my focusbars. After that everything worked fine again.
Also I disabled the falloff for all of may bars, and it borked my target bars:
mHud.lua:739: attempt to index field 'falloff'(nil value)
As long as leave all features active everything seems to work just fine. Other than that I thank you for instant feature request fulfillment ;-)
would like to request a unlock feature. Where when unlocked it shows all enabled bars at full so you get a feel of where everything resides. Hmm, maybe call it configuration mode or some such.

Future plans:
If the times allow, rebuild as a modular unit frames, with the same basic functionality.

This seems like the best way to do it.

Can I request the ability to take that space out of the numbers tho? (and maybe pick out own font?)
The space reminds me of using a bad font that don't support the comma and the numbers are large enough for me to clearly read em :-)
Thanks
