I get an error with the current version of RS_ClassColors. It happens every time a guild member or someone on my friends list logs on. It makes the sound when they log on but it doesn't show who it was in the chatlog like it usually does. The error message is below. Thanks.
Error: bad argument # to 'strsub' (string expected, got nil)
Every time someone says something in chat, an error message box pops up. Also, the text doesn't even show up in the chat box. It looks like it's getting blocked by the mod so it doesn't even get to the chat box. Happens for ANY text, ie General Chat, Guild Chat, say, party, etc.
Here's a screenshot of the error (I typed "a" in say) - note that the chat box doesn't show what I typed:
If I disable RSCC, the chat works fine. But really, I LOVE this mod!! Anyone know of a fix?
Working-in-WoW-2.3 player name class coloring mods that don't require further hacking:
--SimpleChatMods with its "playernames.lua" module. Use as-is or disable the rest of the chat things in it by commenting them out in the TOC (put a "#" in front of the module name) if you don't want the other features. There are no ingame options.
